    A small tip for inserting threaded inserts with a soldering iron: leave them a millimeter proud of the surface and quickly press them in against a flat metal surface while still hot. This ensures that they are flush with and perpendicular to the surface, and you avoid those bumps forming at the edge of the hole.

    I watched a few overdue videos on your channel again and, as usual, I am full of admiration for the quality of your work. Your skill set is AMAZING! Woodwork, roofs, renovations, interior finishing, CNC, my favorite welding, and with the casing and keyboard, you have completely blown me away!     I think you are an amazingly talented craftsman. I thoroughly enjoy your videos and look forward to each new one. I was looking at my family tree and traced back to ancestors that lived in Scrooby, Malibu, Doncaster, and Braithwell. Looks like my family has Yorkshire roots. May explain why I am so frugal. My wife says cheap. I think words matter and prefer frugal. I enjoy watching what you create.

    This is one of the most impressive videos I’ve seen on UA-cam. So many techniques and tools used, knowledge and skills spanning over a wide area of expertise. And all those steps condescend to under one hour. Some channels would spend a 30 min video on just designing the HDMI holder!
    Nice hidden details, jump cut to home by pressing “home” on the keyboard.
    And high quality footage and editing on top of that!
    Extremely well done. I wish I could give more than one thumb up. 👍👍👍

    If the budget allows it, I would recommend to swap your SSD drives with M2 drives (which I believe your motherboard supports). It removes the need for many cables you had to mod and improves the airflow in the case since they are directly attached to the motherboard.
    They are also much faster than SSD can ever be (SATA is an old standard made for the spinning disks era).

    You can add silicone o-rings to the top of your keyboard switches under the tops to damper the noise as well, great case as well you could sell them for LAN parties .

    You can also get a set of tiny o rings for each keycap and even double them up if needed to dampen the noise even further.

    Those compact SATA connectors.. they are designed to use with a telco punchdown tool and without cutting the insulation :)

    I love watching all your videos, but I absolutely feel like I could be more productive afterwards lol. I really respect the extent to which you just do stuff for yourself, I really wish I had the time, space and equipment to do even a fraction of the projects that you do.

    I saw the video titled “6kg carbon fiber PC” and I thought “what the hell?” But then I remembered NYW is a renaissance man, and the woodworking that initially drew me to his channel was only one of his many, many skills. But did I really want to watch a build video for a PC? Ah, who am I kidding, I’d watch this guy do his laundry!

    Amazing build! I would recommend reinstalling the AIO cooler and distributing more thermal paste, so that it covers the entire IHS.

    29:35 one of the 3 fan-wires is for measuring the fan speed, combining two fans in one connector can result in interesting speeds... 🙂
