Jaco Pastorius, who he met through Pat Metheny during the Berkeley era, lived with Mike Stern himself during the worst of the years with drug, co-starring and touring. This song was provided by him for a tribute album produced by a group of related artists after the tragic death. Playing with Lee Ritenour is even more beautiful and deeper than the studio version, soaking in the afterglow of catharsis.

I can't put my finger on it but Lee's solo is just so good I keep coming back to it. It builds so well and the nylon string tone is perfect for the song, not even considering it's a silent guitar!
