My first place was just what I needed to. I still miss it, and that was 33 years ago.

Yeah, I miss my little bungelo, that's for sure. It's always nice when you have a good first experience of moving out of home.

Great video. I remember when I moved out of my own almost 3 years ago. I got my own apartment and my own job at the end of 2019. It turned out to be a good year for me personally. I think the thing that brought me some comfort is knowing that I’m only a few minutes away from my grandma, who I used to live with before I moved out on my own. That helped to boost my confidence.

It is really special when you first move out of home, I think having a positive experience is really important.

I really enjoyed this one. Great job. I’m really glad you made this, extremely important for young people to get out and be independent.
    👍🏻😁

I’m currently in a situation where I am trying to find housing for people with visual impairments in the US, unfortunately the wait Time is about 6 to 9 months

There is actually supported housing for blind people in America? How interesting, how does it work? I hope you don't have to wait too much longer.

@@melStephens1994 , Thank you for the kindness, To answer your question, all forms of housing require filling out applications and then being put on a waitlist i’m keeping my fingers crossed

Well, I hope you get allocated somewhere nice very soon. Here in Australia, unless you are applying for supported housing because you have a low income, is not spacifically aimed at people who are blind or have low vision. We have acconedation for people with other different abilities, such as interlectual and physical but not blindness.
