Yay, you're back! :) I'm sorry to hear you've been going through a rough time health wise, but glad to hear you're doing better. I loved the article! I've always been interested in playing footy myself, but being totally blind I didn't truly believe it possible. I'll definitely be taking a look at local clubs and organisations now though. Take care Mel, and I look forward to watching your next video.
Thank you, it has been a long road but I'm so greatful to be back and feeling in the right place to make content for everyone. I hope you can find an inclusive sporting club somewhere in your area :)
Mel, I am so glad you are doing better now, you need to take care of yourself, young lady. I am happy that more people are getting to see all the fantastic things you do. Being so famous, I hope you don’t forget about us, your famous fans. 😁
So glad you’re back, and that you’re doing better. That’s ridiculous that the ambulance people made you call back the next day when you were sick or is it taking you the first time and also that the hospital will give you a chest x-ray rather then give you all the blood test to begin with. Doctors are impossible sometimes. Best of luck with your health going forward don’t forget to take care of yourself the same way you take care of your horses and Penny. It is crazy that it was five years, I thought you were gonna say to.
Yeah, I can’t believe it. It’s been five years. It feels like only yesterday that I was at Guide Dogs doing my training with her, but it wasn’t. All the amazing adventures that we’ve had in the five years, it’s incredibly good to look back on. I’ve been so lucky to have such a good time with her and I look forward to having more good years with her. And as for my health in the doctors, totally agree, can be very frustrating sometimes but I’m glad to be on the other side.
Glad to hear you’re doing much better Mel having my morning coffee here in Chicago while watching your latest videos. Will be keeping a lookout for your next video. Take care, my friend.

Thank you, the recovery certainly did take awhile but I’m glad that I have recovered now. And yeah, can’t believe it’s been five years with my girl, I’m so happy with her and I hope to continue for another five.
@@melStephens1994 I am currently getting ready to go to training for my first guide dog do you have any? advice for me I am very nervous and excited. I’ve never got a hold of a harness or experience being guided by a guide dog.😊😄
That sounds so horrific, glad you are all healed up and better now! Congrats on 5 years with Penelope!
You’re doing okay just stay strong one day at a time regards Peter and the pooch from Shepparton
