I got the Samsung A 10.1 2019 for Reading and Netflix (I dont play games) and it is absolutely excellent. The screen is crisp and bright, and battery life is solid as well.
I just got Tab S4 (Sep 2021) and it is still fantastic. I got it second hand for 170 pounds which is cheaper than a new A7 and even cheaper and much better specced than either the S5e or S6 Lite. OK it is now stuck at Android 10, but it is still getting security updates and the software as it is is absolutely fine.
I am highly considering the tab s5e as my next purchase especially for an even more price drop once the s6e comes out. Everything is perfect, it offers a high end experience, the only thing I don't like is the processor. I do really hope it makes it to android 11

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is the best by far. Bought it for just 599€. Stunning 10.5 inch SuperAmoled screen and audio too through 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos. And it has now got Android 10 update. DEX and Snapdragon 855. 6gb/128gb.

As for Huawei products: they may be the best Chinese product and a true rival on the world market but without Google support much of the world will be let down.

crazy to spend this kind of money on a tablet that is junk when the battery loses its capacity. Samsung needs to step up and provide battery replacements for all the tablets they sell.
This is the main reason, I don’t spend money on laptops and mobile devices and prefer getting some piece of junk second hand or a hand me down. Battery replacement is an after thought for these manufacturers and a mobile device is only mobile if the battery even works. That and the screens always breaking.
Appel ain't much better my old ipad has to be nearly on constant charge and my sisters last iphones battery didn't even last her contract length, the tabs6 is my first samsung tablet but all my phones since the note 3 have been Samsung and have always lasted my contract length plus 2 years of my son useing them so 4+ yrs ain't bad I do wish removable batteries were still a thing but after 4 yrs paying to have somebody put a new battery in isn't a massive deal

Idk why you specifically noted samsung as all devices nowadays cant replace the battery. If you know how a screwdriver and a heat gun works you can change it on your own. Or you can not be a monket and care for your device. Or you can pay a couple of bucks and have it replaced. Not a big deal.

Nice review video. I have been looking for a new tablet for my wife as she keeps borrowing my iPad, which also needs replacing as it is iPad4 and getting a few hickups as well as no further updates. Almost bought the 10.1" today, but couldn't get the right color, so settled for the A7 with 10.4" screen and feel far happier as it's being delivered tomorrow morning. Will be looking for something a little better for myself and do like Gallaxy as I have the A5 (2017) phone, which is excellent for me. Was thinking about an additional A8 but after your review, I will stick with the larger sizes. Thanks again and I will keep watching.

I have tab s5e and tab s6, I found the sound quality of tab s5e actually better than the tab s6, and the screen is also more pleasant, the screen of tab s6 seems brighter somehow.. it has only 2 screen colour settings, that's very strange. tab s5e have 4 different choices

@@redmafela3860 At first it is not. It took some time to be comfortably writing using the bundled S-Pen. If you could wait for the newer Tab S6 Lite, it has a similar S-Pen to the high end Galaxy Tab S6.

I just got the Galaxy tab A 10.1 2019 in Nov 2019 & love it. Crisp, clear picture on youtube. Only complaint is the charging cord is too short. I had to buy a longer one.

I am in search for specifically an android tablet for digital art. I use IbisPaint X for my art and social media , so I don't need a super fancy tablet. I just want a small size like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0, but still with quality imagery. The audio is not important as I can easily use just my phone to listen to music and watch movies. And I use Bluetooth earphones. I feel like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 might be the best one for me since it is small and easy to carry. I feel that the 10 inch ones would be too big, especially since I intend to get a super protective case which will bulk it up some.

I got the tab a 10.1 on black friday and love it. I'm stepping up from a old 8" nvidia tablet. It's fast enough, great screen, 3gb ram, great battery life but only ok speakers. Great basic tablet
you get the Spen with the tab a 8inc thats good Looks a little uncomfortable to use for long periods But with the tablet on Ebay for under £200 and the Tab s6 spen going for £40 thats not a bad price for both together. Im useins the Tab S6 and I Love it, It's Well worth the Price the spen is Super comfortable to use feels to me Like almost useing a normal Pen and the tablet itself is fantastic not problem with app support (something I was worried about) not issues with anything only complaint and it's purely superficial is that Samsung didn't put their theme store on their tablets like they do their phones so I'm having to use launchers again but I will never go back to ipad the tabs6 is a completely different experience with useful features not available in IOS
After reading and watching many of the reviews, I confidently gotten my Tab A with S-Pen. I appreciate that you honestly cannot confirm 2nOS updates for all Samsung tablets despite the trend and after buying, it did occur to me that this very one may not get an update at all considering its limited availability. Finger crossed that I am wrong. Anyway, I do shared your sentiment that an 8 inch tablet is the sweet spot and I am loving the tablet. I have one problem though. I have imagine hooking this up to a projector as I need to do presentation occasionally. The ideal setting would be a Type C to HDMI female as that means I can connect to any new or old projector with a HDMI cable. But this tablet does not support that. Admittedly info on such connectivity is scarce. It would be great if you include in your future review, what ways every tablet can connect to a different device. As for this tablet, any advice on a simple way to connect? Casting is not an option for me.
@@ojasvi222 Actually there are 2 versions, one with and one without S-Pen. Sadly the version with S-Pen is not widely available. Fortunately for me, it's available in Malaysia.

I have the galaxy tab s3, s4 and s6... the s6 is a beautiful bit of kit, they're all good but the s6 is on another level. It's so nice to have aluminium on the back of the s6. I'm not keen on the chargeable pen on the s6, I prefer the pen from the s4.

Is there any powerful video and/or photo editing softwares for Samsung tab S6 you know of that support S6's features like air actions, gestures or even Spen? it is a Shame samsung don't offer spen support on there buget 10-inch tablets also to compete with the iPad as apple offers pen support on all of their newer iPads now even the budget ones (you got to buy it separately even with the iPad Pro witch is BS at that price Point But its appel what do you Expect) so samsung could maybe offer a basic S-Pen similar to the one on the tab a 8inc or just spen support giving you the option whether you want to buy an spen separately on there cheaper tablets
I keep looking at the Galaxy Tab a (Latest version). Wondering what difference there is between the 2019 version and the latest version? i have the tab a7 and it works great for what i do. i have the zagg limitless keyboard to pair it with. nice combo. sometimes the keyboard goes into a standby mode and awakens at a push of a button. it has that lag when awaken typing but its a second/split second thing once awaken the typing is seamless.

No. Only capacative pen. If you really need a pen the AmazonBasics Stylus Pen works good. Costs only 10 to 15 extra and gives nearly the same drawing experience as the Smp500

A side from planned obsolescence. For many countries importing devices with replaceable batteries is more difficult.

I just got the Galaxy tab A 10.1 2019 in Nov 2019 & love it. Crisp, clear picture on youtube. Only complaint is the charging cord is too short. I had to buy a longer one.

I am in search for specifically an android tablet for digital art. I use IbisPaint X for my art and social media , so I don't need a super fancy tablet. I just want a small size like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0, but still with quality imagery. The audio is not important as I can easily use just my phone to listen to music and watch movies. And I use Bluetooth earphones. I feel like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 might be the best one for me since it is small and easy to carry. I feel that the 10 inch ones would be too big, especially since I intend to get a super protective case which will bulk it up some.

I got the tab a 10.1 on black friday and love it. I'm stepping up from a old 8" nvidia tablet. It's fast enough, great screen, 3gb ram, great battery life but only ok speakers. Great basic tablet

you get the Spen with the tab a 8inc thats good Looks a little uncomfortable to use for long periods But with the tablet on Ebay for under £200 and the Tab s6 spen going for £40 thats not a bad price for both together. Im useins the Tab S6 and I Love it, It's Well worth the Price the spen is Super comfortable to use feels to me Like almost useing a normal Pen and the tablet itself is fantastic not problem with app support (something I was worried about) not issues with anything only complaint and it's purely superficial is that Samsung didn't put their theme store on their tablets like they do their phones so I'm having to use launchers again but I will never go back to ipad the tabs6 is a completely different experience with useful features not available in IOS
After reading and watching many of the reviews, I confidently gotten my Tab A with S-Pen. I appreciate that you honestly cannot confirm 2nOS updates for all Samsung tablets despite the trend and after buying, it did occur to me that this very one may not get an update at all considering its limited availability. Finger crossed that I am wrong.
Anyway, I do shared your sentiment that an 8 inch tablet is the sweet spot and I am loving the tablet. I have one problem though. I have imagine hooking this up to a projector as I need to do presentation occasionally. The ideal setting would be a Type C to HDMI female as that means I can connect to any new or old projector with a HDMI cable. But this tablet does not support that.
Admittedly info on such connectivity is scarce. It would be great if you include in your future review, what ways every tablet can connect to a different device. As for this tablet, any advice on a simple way to connect? Casting is not an option for me.
So does Tab A support stylus support. I asked and they said that it didn't but the latest model shows the support so I don't know
@@ojasvi222 Actually there are 2 versions, one with and one without S-Pen. Sadly the version with S-Pen is not widely available. Fortunately for me, it's available in Malaysia.

I have the galaxy tab s3, s4 and s6... the s6 is a beautiful bit of kit, they're all good but the s6 is on another level. It's so nice to have aluminium on the back of the s6.
I'm not keen on the chargeable pen on the s6, I prefer the pen from the s4.

Is there any powerful video and/or photo editing softwares for Samsung tab S6 you know of that support S6's features like air actions, gestures or even Spen? Like imovie, or Photoshop on ipad （not fair they don't make one for Android）. Oh wait. They do.. but I lazy to backspace now. it is a Shame samsung don't offer spen support on there buget 10-inch tablets also to compete with the iPad as apple offers pen support on all of their newer iPads now even the budget ones (you got to buy it separately even with the iPad Pro witch is BS at that price Point But its appel what do you Expect) so samsung could maybe offer a basic S-Pen similar to the one on the tab a 8inc or just spen support giving you the option whether you want to buy an spen separately on there cheaper tablets
I keep looking at the Galaxy Tab a (Latest version). Wondering what difference there is between the 2019 version and the latest version? I want it mostly for reading and using it to stream a radio station and Google Play/UA-cam music and videos. It seems it may be fine for that. So hard to decide if I should get the Tab S4 or the S6. I'm a power user so S6 should be better for me but there are so many extra offers on used S4 even with keyboard cover that I can't really make my choice :/
i have the tab a7 and it works great for what i do. i have the zagg limitless keyboard to pair it with. nice combo. sometimes the keyboard goes into a standby mode and awakens at a push of a button. it has that lag when awaken typing but its a second/split second thing once awaken the typing is seamless.

No. Only capacative pen. If you really need a pen the AmazonBasics Stylus Pen works good. Costs only 10 to 15 extra and gives nearly the same drawing experience as the Smp500

Teal the surface pro line has Mini DisplayPort and you can buy an adapter for hdmi that way, if you still need it.
