Love the cameras. The lack of videos on how to operate them has been terrible. I’ve noticed in the last month or so you actually added new videos thank you very much. I currently have these cameras and four of nine of my businesses and will be replacing the rest.

The videos y’all have been putting out recently are great and much needed. Would you ever consider a video on configuring snd operating a montavue PTZ with a Dahua PTZ controller. We use them with our PTZ and once configured it’s a great complement to the ptz

I think calling into tech support would be ideal for your situation. There's a few questions tech support would need to ask you in order to solve this issue. Our number is 888-508-3110. I have done the preset working well in hikvision ptz but it doesn't return panning after manual pan from remote view
Hikvision PTZ might be different but it's likely you have to log into the camera itself and change PTZ commands so that your camera returns back to its patrol mode after X amount of minutes of inactivity. Our Montavue cameras have that function but I'm not sure Hikvision PTZs would or how to access those options.

The MTZ8250-IRAI camera has the ability to auto-track subjects that have activated the motion triggers. My PTZ no longer shows on my screen. It says wrong user name or password. I entered my password does it have a default password?
Hello!
There is no default password for the cameras or NVR, so it's likely that you either changed your NVR password or the camera's password was adjusted. The camera and NVR should have the exact same password, so if you're getting that error message, it means one of them has been changed. Call tech support and they can walk you through how to reset your camera at (406) 272-3479
