Any future intentions to launch these new Yeti power stations into the New Zealand market. Whilst I'm not a camper, the 300 could come in handy for, say, powering my laptop on the couch or a stereo in the backyard. Not to mention the usefulness if there's an extended blackout due to a storm, earthquake or other natural hazzard.
I really want to see the size of these compared to my Yeti500X. I have one I use in our Mini van to power some screens for video games for um... you know... the kids to play... The spot where I store the battery is exactly as big as a Yeti 500X. How do these compare in size to the Yeti 500X?
The new Yeti 500 is 11.32 x 7.84 x 7.8 in. vs the Yeti 500X 11.25 x 7.5 x 5.8 in. Slightly larger due to longer life span in the LiFePO4 battery and built-in AC fast charging ( no more large brick charging cable).

Is the rubber flap removable? What is the durability of the rubber flap, can it be replaced by the end user if it tears?
The flaps can be replaced if needed. We do recommend leaving the cover flaps on your Yeti Power Stations to protect the unit from the elements.
Will Goal Zero be releasing larger units.... in the 1000-1500 range?

Go kick the cage, your engineers are conservatively 5 years late to the LiFePo4 party. You certainly don’t want to end up like Jackery, the “darling” has been power station star.
Well, my house looks like a Goal Zero store 🤪Here are three Yeti 150 (upgraded with LFP), one Yeti 400 AGM (now with LFP), three Yeti 200x, one 500x and one 1000x. On top some Sherpa 100AC (3 gen and 4 gen) and some lights. Charged with some GZ and other solar panels the whole year. The small and light units are very versatile.
So I'm very interested on the Yeti 300. When are the new LFP Yetis available in Europa (Germany)?
How did you upgrade the Yeti 150 and 400 to LFP? The voltages are slightly different so how does the charge controller know when to stop charging?
@@jgg204 I put 12.8 volt LFP batteries (four cells @ 3.2V) inside the 150/400. For the 150 a 14 Ah type, the 400 gots a 33 Ah type.
Such batteries are full compatible with an AGM charge controller. Important is to observe the volts zu figure out the charging level. The old AGM Yeti provides only a five bar charge level indicator, every bar is 20%. The voltage from LFP is like follow:
14.6V 100% (cutoff voltage, fully charged)
13.6V 100% (resting)
13.4V 99%
13.3V 90%
13.2V 70%
13.1V 40%
13.0V 30%
12.9V 20%
12.8V 17%
12.5V 14%
12.0V 9%
10.0V 0%
This means the first bar disappears if the charge level (SOC) reaches about 16%. Time to recharge. The 150 is not able to show the voltage directly on the display, it shows only the 20% bars. The 400 gives you more information, also the voltage, Ah and Wh. I switch to Wh and so I can see if the counter reached 200Wh the SOC must be 50%. It's matching with the voltage around 13.1/13.2V.
During charging the 20% bars appears like AGM. Is the 100% bar solid, the charge is finished and the charge controller reached 14.6V and holding 13.6V.
One of the 150 runs since 16 month with the LFP. No problems.
Does this use a lithium phosphate long life battery with 3k charging cycles?
LiFePO4 battery technology gives these compact power stations a long lifespan of 4,000+ cycles!
I see the ability to charge the power station with USB-C 60W input was removed from the new Yeti power stations. Is this true?
Yes this is true but we updated the USB-C PD port to a 100W USB-C PD port. With the introduction of AC fast charging and a 200W solar input, we thought these outweighed the usb-c input.

Goal Zero , it’s about time you stepped up your performance. I personally believe a 1500 would be the perfect battery pack, for the weekend Warriors, which consist of Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
1500 LFP power station would be about 53 lbs. not exactly for mobile use cases. hence why other brands power stations in the higher Wh have rollers
anyone charged their EV using this?
We would recommend the Yeti PRO 4000 to give an EV some extra millage
When will LiFePo4 technology finally make it into the 1500x?
