- Dan's new pilot - Hamster and Gretel - has been revealed and greenlit by Disney Channel! But this brought with it a LOT of questions. Where's Swampy? Will Hamster and Gretel be set in the same universe as Phineas and Ferb and Milo Murphy's Law? Will there be a crossover? And why has the reaction to the pilot been so mixed? I answer all these questions and more in my first video of 2021!

So now that H&G is pretty much confirmed to be in the same universe, can we stop calling it the Dwampyverse and refer to it as the Tri-Show Area instead?

I'm glad the universe will live on. The show doesn't sound as interesting as a MML S3, but still interesting enough.
Right! And with character crossovers likely, maybe we'll get a bit of continued Milo story late in the run!

I'm not a huge fan of superhero shows myself, but I have so much faith in Dan

I would like a show made by Dan and Swampy where everything is normal. Phineas And Ferb had Good Luck, Milo Murphys Law had bad luck and I would like a show which has normal luck.
But we already know from Just Our Luck and The PnF Effect that *everyone* in this universe has good or bad luck thanks to their probability ions. So this is like the Flynn-Fletchers, where the older sibling has negative ions, but the younger two have positive ions.
Everyone is either overwhelmed or underwhelmed... Why can't people just be... whelmed?
well they are superheroes so its pretty likely that they will face both difficult and easy challanges (judging based off every other super hero movie in the whole world)

My first reaction to this show is that it's probably going to be better than I think. That's exactly what happened with Phineas AND Milo, and I think I'll be pleasantly surprised with this one too. And if not, I think the worst the show can be is mediocre. The art reminds me a lot of those dime-a-dozen Nickelodeon shows they were pumping out for a while, but I think Dan will make it to stand out in one way or another.
I wish this was Milo Murphy’s law season 3.

I'll be honest, the plot of this new show isn't my cup of tea, but it does look like it's for a younger audience. We'll have to wait until the show comes out to have a proper opinion on it. Because it's unfair to automatically dislike a show before it even comes out. BUT, They seriously need to have better concept art for this show. That concept art was bound to generate mixed opinions.
I'm curious if the final art style will end up being close to the Milo/Phineas style!

Molly McGee has SOOOOOOO much potential! That show looks great, I’m really excited for it
The Ghost And Molly McGee has some notable people attached to it. The show is created by Bill Motz & Bob Roth. They worked on shows like Aladdin The Series, Hercules The Series, Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command, Kim Possible, Xiaolin Showdown, Brandy And Mr. Whiskers, The Penguins Of Madagascar, and Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures. The show's story editor is Madison Bateman, who wrote for Motorcity, Turbo Fast, and DuckTales 2017. The animation is also done by Mercury Filmworks, whose works include Wander Over Yonder season 1, Penn Zero Part Time Hero season 1, Mickey Mouse 2013, The Lion Guard, Hilda, and Kid Cosmic.

it’ll be pretty cool if this show was set in the future of Phineas and Ferb. So like, Phineas and Ferb characters could be shown in the background or even in the crossover everybody wants as their characters in act your age or maybe even further into that, like Phineas and the gang come home for summer vacation from college and we’ll get to see what their lives are like. And yes I’m assuming this new show will take place in the summer because as Dan said they were at soccer practice when Hansel got her powers. So unless her parents have a lot of free time on their hands during school months I’m gonna guess it takes place in summer. And also the milo cast growing up. I would love that
I think it deserves a shot. Normally I wouldn't give a show like this a second look, however, Dan (and Swampy too, of course) hasn't disappointed yet.

In Dan's defense with The Rick Roll thing, that particular meme became popular in 2008, around the same time P&F first aired. Most of my generation that watched PnF when it aired were the same age they were when they first discovered UA-cam. It's not technically outdated if it's old enough to be nostalgic.

I loved Wordgirl the show managed to keep it entertaining while educating us along the way like I really wish we would get a reboot or another season because we never got an answer if Dr. Two-Brains reverts back into his original form Steven Boxlietner without the mouse brain

I didn't even notice anything wrong with that concept art until now lol. After Milo 2 I'm just glad to see Dan move on to something new, I hope they keep the nods fairly small for a while, I don't want a repeat of last time lol.

First of all, Milo Murphy’s Law will forever be the best tv show of all time, and my favorite tv show ever, so we need season 3 for sure, but this doesn’t look half bad... also yes do ducktales please and the new darkwing duck spin-off show when it comes out on Disney plus

Jeff Swampy Marsh created the Pete The Cat cartoon (a preschool show) that came out on Amazon back in 2018 (with a New Year's Eve special in December 2017). As far as I can tell, it still has new episodes.

Setting a show in the same universe but not building up a crossover could be genius. We already know all of these characters exists in the same universe, and it wouldn't be interesting to have another crossover, but still having in jokes for long time fans would be fun.

Its too early to know for me, but I think itll be fun. However, Im kinda worried about the budget. What if its too small?
The Vanessa thing doesn't even make sense because she should only be 22 based on what their ages were in the original show. She was 16 and Ferb was 12. So if Ferb is 18 then she's 22.
I reckon some of the plotlines or gags will be old unused Simpsons jokes as all the writers and storyboarders on the Simpsons used their own families as inspiration

I know I may be a bit late to this, but I kinda like the idea. Growing up, I was and still am obsessed with Comic Books and super heroes, and this idea is really creative. However the idea of a hamster getting superpowers with their pet owner? That might stretch the suspension of disbelief I have.
