    1/24 plastic scale model: Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 - Third generation (1989-1994)
    SUBSCRIBE HERE: bit.ly/mmscalem...
    The formidable technology and performance of the Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R prompted the Australian motoring publication Wheels to nickname the GT-R "Godzilla" in its July 1989 edition.
    The 1/24 Fujimi R32 Vspec II plastic scale model is not what you would call excellent with poor fit and big gaps. I wouldn't recommend it especially when there is the Tamiya 1/24 R32 Nissan Skyline for not much more money.
    Great awards for great patrons, support my work here: / metodi
    The Skyline GT-R became the flagship of Nissan performance, showcasing many advanced technologies including the ATTESA E-TS AWD system and the Super-HICAS four-wheel steering. Today, the car is popular for import drag racing, circuit track, time attack and events hosted by tuning magazines. Production of the Skyline GT-R ended in August 2002. The car was replaced by the R35 Nissan GT-R, an all-new vehicle based on the V36 Skyline. Although visibly different, the two vehicles share similar design features and are manufactured in the same factory.
    To celebrate the success of the GT-R in both Group N and Group A racing, Nissan introduced the Skyline GT-R V·Spec ("Victory SPECification") package on 3 February 1993. The V·Spec added Brembo brakes and a retuned ATTESA E-TS system. The V·Spec was available in both 'plain' and 'N1' variants, with all V·Spec cars using the lightweight aluminium bonnet and front fenders from the 'Nismo'. The cars also replaced the standard 16" wheels with 17" BBS wheels with 225/45R17 tires. The V·Spec had a list price of ¥5,260,000.
    Finally on 14 February 1994, the Skyline GT-R V·Spec II was released, with the only change being wider 245/45R17 tires. The 'plain' V·Spec and V·Spec II had a curb weight of 1,480 kg (3,256 lbs), weighing 50 kg (110 lbs) more than the standard GT-R.[19] Total production of the V·Spec and V·Spec II was 1,396 and 1,306 units respectively.[20]
    Production of the R32 Skyline GT-R ceased in November 1994 after a production run of 43,937 units.
    The most popular colours are KH2 "Gun Grey Metallic" (45% of cars), followed by 326 "Crystal White" (18%), 732 "Black Pearl Metallic (13%), KL0 "Spark Silver Metallic" (12%). The rarest colour is BL0 "Greyish Blue Pearl" with only 141 units

    Very, very, very, very cleverly done!
    I wonder what cost more time...building the model, or editing the video ;-)

      +Michael B This is very very basic kit and i could have built it 10 times faster if i wasn't taking a picture after every move i make. Editing was quite simple and effective compared to normal video editing.

    Thank you very much for this video. I've been thinking of buying R32 scale model for a long time. I've seen the tamiya version but then I saw fujimi option with a discount so I couldn't pick one) no info about it either. After your video no more questions)))) thanks a lot again))))

    • @MMScaleModels
      @MMScaleModels  6 років тому +1

      The experience of putting a kit together will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer but generally they are easy to put together. Achieving decent overall result, though, is harder and requires practice. Give it a go :)
