I'm on stage 7 of that contract. LOL. When I first looked at the contract, I thought that the amount of XP is going to be crazy ridiculous. I usually will have a contract going at all times, just for the awards at each stage. Usually, I get to stage 8 and give up because of the amount of XP at that final stage on most contracts. Not sure if I'll finish the final stage of the contract, but up to stage 7 is always good for contracts because of the large sum of silver, AND 3 days of premium.
@@dukesworldoftanks What do you like better, the XM 551 or the Tusk? I didn't like the derp gun on the XM 551, BUT, the Tusk has roughly 7% better detectability range. I would be it could actually be a better spotter and sniper, and can be used aggressively when needed.
really not using the tusk to its strengths. your not even building the tank correctly for a boom and zoom playstyle. drop vents replace with vert stabs because at full speed stabs helps far more than plus.02 to your accuracy and plus 10m ish to your view range . drop rammer replace with advance reload since you will be using most of your reload running away and its far far better to have the right ammo loaded against certain tanks. for example if you're facing against an e100 or maus and you have heat loaded. you will do nothing with heat. even against most side on tanks heat is not useful unless you aim. please use a crew. you're completely right about how tier 10 contracts are basically prison. i wish instead of having a tier limit with class restrictions on the contracts , you are instead limited to each nations that are on the tank itself. for the tusk it should be american and french nation limit.
That is a bunch of GREAT suggested improvements...with explanations! I'd rather be corrected, by you, than continue playing in a sub-standard manner! Ive been using the CW Era 1 FV107. HP is 1700. I made it to stage 7 with 162 days to go. Its over 1 million XP to grind but I have months to get it done. I dont feel like its that tough.

MR1368. I know what you mean. I did the chisel the Machine and the hard case back then. Before the cold war mode. That was challenging the cold war mode because of the XP that you can get each Game make these contracts a breeze. We didn't have that option back then. Good luck to you
I'm doing the Tusk contract now on Stage 4, what's the best tank to use to complete all the stages. I don't play cold war and don't have alot of usable tanks in that mode. I mostly play world war II and have tons of tanks available
Well, it's going to limit your selection of LIGHT tanks using WW2, exclusively. As long as you have a tier 9 or 10 LIGHT, you should be "good to go". So, I'd suggest using what is COMFORTABLE for your style of play. It's the tier 9 or 10 requirements that will limit your selection, which is why I used the FREE 63-I Cold War tank (which required zero preparation & was available at he start of that EASTERN line). I have only tried a contract once, I did not have the right tanks for some of it and had zero chance of completing it. I did however manage to get around 1.5 million silver which was ok with me. Problem is I looked at the amount of damage I'd have to do..not gonna happen. I think contracts are ok though IF you've played this rat of a game for long enough, but that depends on how different people learn to play this game with any consistent results needed to complete contracts. I'm not there yet and do not intend to spend 10, 15 or 20 years trying to be a unicom...or whatever. Also I found it a bit boring to be honest. But for those who can do them all power to your elbows I say.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Waaaaaay back, contracts were very specific, so I couldn't no ANY of them, because I lacked the specific tank models that were required. Thanks for the reminder of the "old days"!

It's subjective, meaning some parts may be DIFFICULT for 1 guy but not for another.

I completed this TUSK contract with Cold War LIGHT (63-I) tanks Oct. 2022.

i did the machine contract and i swear never again, its not even that good of a tank to be honest.
