I still keep all my dual trainer tanks for "smuggling" commanders between classic nations for 0 gold. It's a niche situation where I'll need to do this mostly if it's a 3d commander that I've corrupted in error.

I've gone into the water a few times but it's usually been fairly shallow but enough to submerge the tank, in the hopes the water reduces their ammo effect. Not sure if it does or not though. I did dump me tank in deeper water once but unfortunately I couldn't get out in time, but it was about the only option I had at the time. But yeah, this is the only time I've seen anyone do this and the enemy follows and likely drowned his tank, or at least took longer to get back out so you can escape. I think this is maybe easier with a smaller lighter tank than a big heavy one so a tactic worth trying if you have no other escape route available. As for the teams, well we all get this don't we. Crash bang wallop at the start because half of them have no idea where they're going. Out of the games I played last night most were like this and some even worse, I think I only got 2 or 3 decent games and one MVP in a winning team. Mostly we lost. Upside is these games, IF you are the better or one of the better players you can get good results and MVPs, which all count for your ranking etc. Problem is most of the time when the RNG roundabout switches round and now you get the better team then your team batters the enemy team. But often it's a duck shoot but this time the enemy team are the ducks. I had a game like this last night, we won hands down, I got MVP and a class 1 MB. But it wasn't worth anything really because it was too darn easy. Era 1 game more like a tier 3 game...But this is where the game gives us a winning team and if you are good enough you can get MVPs and MBs and even an Ace Tanker. But for me these rewards are only really earned on the odd times you get two well matched teams in a game that lasts a longer time and then you earn these rewards IF you can. OK yes, in the weaker teams you might be MVP, or get a top 3 finish, but compared to the rest of the team you were basically gifted it. Sometimes I get a run of games when I get top 5 or top 7 finishes regularly, and some MVPs. But after a while I'm struggling to get the same results for any number of games. But this is how the game works, balancing as they call it, so we have to roll with it. And it matters not how good a player you are the game works the same. So all we can do is take advantage of poor teams as best we can.

Always good when your team cooperate, or at least some do. Unlike a video Claus put up showing a player who pinned his team's arty to a building after harassing him from the start of the game. He did this the entire game until at the end he pushes the arty out to be destroyed...then he dies. Can't just recall the video title, either way this idiot needs banning.

So, does the BMP 1 still shoot into the ground, or have they fixed that issue? I do not have one but have seen a few YTers videos on this issue. I have a STRV something or other WG gifted us, with missiles. Thing is I can hardly ever get the siege mode to work..mind you my D Pad is a bit cranky. Makes a change form stick drift I guess. On a different subject though, I had a game on cows butt the other day. At the end of the game I'm parked looking up a slight incline along one of the trails, suddenly someone ran across the trail from left to right into the trees along the trail....I say someone, a pixel someone all in black. Was I imagining it? Nope. Was it a Sasquatch....nope. Was it someone from a destroyed tank running for his life? Maybe. We see birds, butterflies, scorpions on airfield, Dragonflies and for some reason white bunnies on Raisin. Never a pixel 'uman though. Is this WG experimenting possibly? Will we be seeing crews abandoning their busted tanks? Maybe with an assault rifle to fight enemy troops with? Will we be seeing trenches and machine gun nests to destroy? Fuel and ammo dumps to take out? Bunkers to blow up? Will tanks in the teams be given their own missions to complete other than just blowing up tanks? There are other tank games do this. Oh I do hope so. Well they have to come up with something instead of never ending stupid ass tanks all the time.

I have the BMP 3 but use marder A3 and A1.

Also the Jaguar is a single atgm tank unlike the Rak having two atgm.

The power creep has all but made the BMP line useless same as both Bradley tanks until they get rebalanced I’d rather play the Marder A3.

I have idiots on my team getting behind me and pushing/holding me out in front of the enemy almost every single game. On another note, I just earned my first era 3 tank! Marder 3

U do make interesting commentary on other aspects of wot's than others like with Malibu Steven etc with clean (of most) humour not OTT. Congrats on doing Roswell op in soon time... I now got the Tusk mostly used CW LT's and TD's., now 4 to 5 hours on Roswell contract just at stage 5; grinding obj 257, playing Minotaur as went from 5 million silver to 300k silver., using the new T114 Battalion was gd selecting specific tanks in a battle with it's flexibility.. All best hope yr keeping well.. 🙏🤙

Im about to earn the Roswell too. After that im cycling all the others and building up my premium time for free. I'm not giving wg any more money. Edit: im not near completing it at all. I didn't realise there was 316,800 xp to earn at the end. I'm not bothering now. I simply don't have the time for it.

Iron Mace does not increase damage at longer ranges @12:47. It decreases the effect that distance has on the penetration values of AP and APCR rounds. It however has no effect on HEAT rounds (the only rounds your carrying on your tank) as HEAT rounds don't lose penetration potential as the distance to target increases. So your essentially wasting a skill slot with that crew on that tank. Iron Mace is most effective when used with tanks firing APCR as those are the rounds whose penetration values are most effected by increased distances to target.

That LEOPARD 2AV Tank is an awesome tank really makes me alot of silver don't pass it up DUKE got it for my wife today for her account she plays alot of Red Dead Redemption 2 but she has gotten into tanks lately

Excellent explanation as usual Duke. One thing I would add is Premium tanks have elite status out of the box. Tech tree tanks do not, but once you get them to elite status they get an elite tank commander bonus. Which in a good game can be quite juicy. So I'm figuring with a premium tank the 100 or more "premium" bonus only applies to premium tanks. Be it a silver bonus or whichever one it is. But they also get the elite tank commander bonus based on your results per game. Whereas elite tech tree tanks only get the elite commander bonus. Which is good if you have tech tree tanks you can play well. Do I have this correct? I think I do but just in case I haven't.

I had a game on this map last night and it reminded me of something. On the river side of this map in a game awhile ago I went to the river looking for the enemy arty. I'm going in circles looking for it and on my mini map it's right next to me. But I couldn't see it. Until I noticed it was on the other side of the river. How has it got there I asked meself? Now there is a shallow part of the river next to the bridge, you went through there in this game. So I'm wondering if the river is shallower than it looks or if there's somewhere else where it is shallow. No idea if there's any cover over there or not, but I couldn't figure out how he got there.

Heavy and slow. So inevitably you're gonna take shots and end up with more than one enemy tank on ya doorstep..And you can't escape because you is slow. And, as happens in many games, the last enemy tanks are now on the other side or end of the battlefield so you are gonna get there well after everyone else because you is slow. By the time you get there, IF you get there, most enemy tanks are dead..or yours are. So to be successful in slow mo tanky you need to shoot at enemy tanks as much as you can. So long reloads are out. Brownie's real skill here is driving this tank whilst shooting at enemy tanks but NOT relying on auto aim. His ability to target weak areas of enemy tanks whilst driving and shooting through his sniper scope is key to his success. Now, this is easier to do in slow tanks, assuming you don't have an overly sensitive stick on your controller, but I'll bet brownie can also do this in faster tanks as well. I can do it in slow tanks but anything that's fairly fast and I'm all over the shop. I don't play slow heavies much these days anyway. One thing about the Churchills is that in sniper mode you can see both front fenders which helps keep tanky on track. We can see here Brownie's mastery at driving tanky and targeting through his sniper scope. Very nice.

Thanks for the heads up. I just bought a 1 star commander for the Roswell XM66F, but basically completed everything i can also the season pass. Only thing now is grinding contracts till i have a minimum of 50 premium days for free now at 34. If it wasn't for you i would've bought the premium instead of using the contracts, so i owe you one friend! But since I'm not the best, I only got around 50 tanks now, but way ahead compared to others with the same play time thanks to your advice videos. But grinding those commander skills for me is the most boring thing in the game, i am happy with a 3k DMG game with 2 kills (playing in tier 8 at the moment) So my XP rates can be quite underwhelming with commander's when you have nothing to work towards for now... waiting for the StarTrek challenges for now. I don't understand the collaboration with WOT but i loved to watch StarTrek together with my dad back in the day.

Well...They were a thinkin' they were gonna win this battle by 7 or maybe 6 tanks. They won by one. So 6 very upset enemies then. I love these games when they turn up and I have been our last tank more than a few times, but win or lose these one on one battles can be awesome. This guy played really well to win for his team. Like yourself Duke I have 3 kills to get to complete stage 5, and 3 juicy free premium days a comin' my way. And yours. Woohoo... After this stage I'll see how far I get. One thing we saw in this game which you commented on is the hidden ruddy Boundary lines. The times I've hit this thing and ended up losing HP or dead. On PC it's lit up like a Christmas decoration. You'd think WG could do something similar for console wouldn't ya..Pain in the arse this. Even some cut down tree stumps with a bit of coloured paint would be better...
