Thanks J & J for your reaction. Chance is a wonderful songwriter. His music is more on the somber reflective side but it fits his voice well. Interesting video too done in black & white. Thanks for explaining what he was using to play the guitar to give it that unique sound.
Adore this and have listened so many times, think his voice is superb and deep down he is my favourite ( smack my wrists) as we say over the pond. Think he fits so well with Home Free also and Tim has said in the past he is their secret weapon…..
So, this song, Ancient History, is the third in a trilogy he started writing years ago. The first is Southern Autumn Nostalgia, done when he was with Street Corner Symphony. The second one is Song For Home and now Ancient History. If you listen to them in that trilogy order, you get a glimpse of Adam, the musician and storyteller. Thanks for the Ebow demo, BTW. 🥰
The HomeFree vocal group is so jam packed full of talent. So much diversity of unique talent within the group. And, yet, they come together in a perfect blend when needed. Home Fry forever!
Chance is mixing his own stuff. He's learned a lot from Reilly from The Hound + The Fox. He's getting better and better as he goes on. As mentioned this was filmed in Joshua Tree. Chance and Sami go there when they need to get away for a bit. Mrs. Potter's Lullaby was also filmed there.
I could listen to Chance all day. His lyrics and music are soul stirring. His covers are uniquely his own. I wish that he would get more support- he certainly deserves it. I thank you both for reacting to his solo works- I’ve been championing Chance for several years, and you are amongst a handful of reactors (that I know of) who highlight his music.
Happy Home FrYday!!! I saw this video when it came out and I melted like butter. This is so chill and very much where Chance seems comfortable. I loved the lesson today and how the sound is made. Looking forward to the next one. Thank you, Lynn, for a soft landing this morning. He’s so cool. 🎶 Cyd
Hello J & J. Happy Home Fryday! Thank you Lynne! You rock. Jeremy, I love your input explaining the Ebow. I had no idea what that sound was . i just knew that I liked it. I'm so happy that you and Jillian appreciate Adam Chance's music. He is so unique and interesting. The lyrics are what draws me in and his vocals are lovely. Sami did an amazing job editing this. Wonderful reaction and I can't wait to hear what's next! ❤
Adam is so good and he lives in L.A. so yeah I think he films in Cali a lot. I really liked his voice in this. He came out strong. Didn’t know about the ebo (did you call it that?). Pretty cool stuff. Good one ninjas!
Thank You for doing my request.😊 As soon as I heard this song by Chance I fell in love with it and thought you both would like it too. Leave it to Chance to find a boat in the middle of a desert😂
Thanks again for the most EXCELLENT sponsored song request, Lynn. As you can tell, we definitely DID love it. And LOL on chance. I know, where the heck was this?! Palm Desert? Happy FrYday, friend!!!
@@musikbyjh Your Welcome 😊 He lives in Los Angeles California so I think it could be a desert around there .Maybe if you get a chance to talk to him you could ask him. 😊
Thanks for your reaction to this. Love this song by Chance! I was able to see Home Free and Tim Foust and Friends at the Veterans Fest concert in Hastings, MN on September 14th with my daughter. It was great! Was able to get many videos and some photos, including me with Tim😁😊
@@musikbyjh Hi!!!! I have more to say, but just standby for a bit lol. I just found out my 17 yo boy has a date tonight, so I'm scrambling to give him advice because it's his first date (like ever). He's always been really shy and then just came home all like mom, I have a date tonight and her parents want to meet me, we're going to a football game, can I use your car -- WHAT? lol
Chance is such a beautiful singer, I love his voice so much, he is such a wonderful song writer. He is so chilled and laid back, so relaxing
You had it right to start with - Joshua Tree. He and Sami create great videos, too.
Chance is my favorite "unknown" underrated solo artist.

Jillian's face as Jeremy's talking about tech stuff is me when the hubby is talking networking or theatrical tech stuff. I just nod and go, "Mhmm."
