Better movie idea. 1 bloodshot is shown pre bloodshot. Military. Doing squad ops. Gets wounded and killed by an ambush they didn't see coming and shouldn't have had to deal with. A soldier or two of his group survive and extract him out they are also injured. He wakes up and is given a task to do a task, which has a secret purpose he isn't told about with "new state of the art tech equipment" to use. His two wounded soldier friends are enhanced and brought on the mission. No one in the high up tells him about his powers, which only activate when he is critically injured. He does some cool stuff, he feels faster and better than before, his tactics are being used. They are about to finish the mission, when one of his soldier allies shoots him through the chest from the side with his Ashe 12.7mm aka full auto bull pup 50 cal. This betraying soldier radios in that they have been compromised and Vin Disel has been shot by the other friendly soldier. He blames the other surviving soldier for being the rat. Vin is dying and can't speak as he slowly turns white and starts to bleed out. Vin powers up and wakes up. Vin is angry. Vin radio's everyone the enhanced betrayer soldier is the betrayer soldier. The soldier is caught off guard by Vin being alive and well. The soldier escapes with bionic speed as Vin has no understanding of his powers. Vin is trained on how to use his powers. The mission real mission is told to him. Secret agency working to destroy the US. Now they have an enhanced terrorist with bionics and only Vin can stop him. Awesome fight scenes here and there. Secret plot point twist, he wasn't the only betrayer. The higher up surgeon that did the enhancing was in on it. The surgeon tries to turn Vin against everyone. Bloodshot fights against himself while also fighting against the enhanced soldier who is also super injured. Vin makes a grenade trade 1 for 1. Vin wakes back up and the surgeon is in custody while the enhanced soldier is dead. The surgeon couldn't let his life's work be destroyed so he turned Vin's powers back on at the last second. Vin's "controller" is destroyed by the grenade. Now only Vin has control over his powers. He is bloodshot. Insert random battles he wins for the US. Insert random tie in to another movie. Profit. Wonder how cool that coulda been.

No one has heard of David S.F. Wilson because this is his directorial debut. His background is special effects. It was originally supposed to be directed by Chad Stahelski and David Letich, the duo who directed John Wick, but they dropped out and somehow Wilson got the directing gig.
Hope you watched it. I waited because of their review and finally watched it. No ways as bad as they act like it is. Is it phenomenal? No. Is it what you expect from an action Vin movie? Yes. It’s entertaining. Slightly above average which to me means a fun movie to watch Wasn’t bad at all. If you go in just looking entertaining, it’s a fun movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon.
I am sorry for what is happening in your country at the moment. My prayers are with you and your countrymen. Stay strong and stay safe. Love from Britain.
One reason why I don't like Vin Diesel in movies: He acts like he's Dom in every single movie. His facial expressions are angry, confused, or both at the same time. Groot worked because of the CGI faces and cuteness. He is a super cool guy and I loved him growing up but I just have to be honest.
I’ve just watched this movie , it was very fun , great action scenes, great CGI , go watch the movie and judge for yourselfs , in the end also had Detroiiiiit smasssssh 😂😂
So funny. I never watched the trailer and loved it. Great easy kick back action flick to watch when home bored chilling. Fun anime comic sci-fi stuff. Basic and very easy to go down. Check out gracies review she’s on point with this movie. It’s to much about their own opinion instead of seeing the technical aspect and what it was going for. It hit that on the head. Easy movie to make.
I have several (well more than several) guilty movie pleasures. Vin Diesel makes frequent appearances (I enjoy his 2015 movie,The Last Witch Hunter...shh) on my list. I had not even heard of Bloodshot (or the Valiant comic) until one week ago. However, I would give this movie a look if/when it streams.
In my gut, I knew Sony would blow it. The Valiant Cinematic Universe is DOA. I'm not sure how it was going to work anyway with rights being split between studios.
"...and don't be pullin' that f a l l i n g down the stairs shit on me..." Joe's sincere love of Coming to America is one that resonates 👍 I wore that tape o u t 😎
Got to say. I didn't see the trailer and the mind manipulation twist was pretty satisfying. You could kind of tell that something was off but i didn't straight up call it. Got me a little bit more hooked on the story so.. yea +1 point.
I was hoping this would be a under the radar good movie too. I'll be going to view it anyways despite the lukewarm review. I wasn't expecting Shakespeare, but I want to support Diesel, I like Pearce usually, & nano-technology is scary interesting. I had this movie & 'The Hunt' planned for this weekend.

*Director throws shade by making him in his classic white skin with flour*
FLOUR REALLY??? HOW IS THIS EVEN BLOODSHOT?
YOU HAD A GOOD ORIGIN STORY GOD DAMENT AND YOU FUCKED IT UP!
@PyroBlitzGaming Rip valiant movieverse 2020-2020 Died before it even started...
No one has heard of David S.F. Wilson because this is his directorial debut. His background is special effects. It was originally supposed to be directed by Chad Stahelski and David Letich, the duo who directed John Wick, but they dropped out and somehow Wilson got the directing gig.
Hahahahaha I knew this movie wouldnt be good
If it’s an average movie, I’ll still see it. I have actually enjoyed most movies that were considered average, maybe I’ll enjoy Bloodshot.
@@atterus11 I did, and I liked it. It was a fun popcorn flick.

One reason why I don't like Vin Diesel in movies:
He acts like he's Dom in every single movie. His facial expressions are angry, confused, or both at the same time. Groot worked because of the CGI faces and cuteness. He is a super cool guy and I loved him growing up but I just have to be honest.
I thought it was decent movie, but had potential to be better.
I’ve just watched this movie , it was very fun , great action scenes, great CGI , go watch the movie and judge for yourselfs , in the end also had Detroiiiiit smasssssh 😂😂
I want to see this guys make their own movie and critique it
Thanks for saving me another $11.50 Joe and gang.
So an EMP wouldn't do anything to the small machines inside him?
OHhhh lmfao- Alex looking at Joe in the beginning of the video...He's just waiting,,,,
Eliza Gonzalez is gorgeous in this movie she’s worth watching
“Nipple camera guy” , I’m dead 😵😂😂😂😵
I fell asleep during the first 30 minutes of the movie but funnily enough I was wide awake this entire review
Those types of movies are basically "Ok to watch in the plane if there's nothing better" type of movie.
Best thing that came out of this movie is knowing OJ is a New Girl Fan.
"...and don't be pullin' that f a l l i n g down the stairs shit on me..."
Joe's sincere love of Coming to America is one that resonates 👍 I wore that tape o u t 😎
Fun Fact: Eiza Gonzalez (KT) was in the Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs and Shaw, minus Vin Diesel.
13:05 BEST part in the whole review AJ!
When I worked in 3d, we learned that if the story and acting is good alot will look past the special effects even if its mediocre. But if the story and acting sucks, the special effects gets picked apart.
Enemies/villains:*has guns shooting at guy
Blood shot:*heals like wolverine on steroids and beats them to death*
KT had the best fight scene. Vin Diesel was terrible. Wiggins was the best part.
What you are on about Joe, the dancing scene (1st one) and the music "Talking Heads - Psycho Killer", is one of the best scenes in the film :P
When Joe said "No bias", I actually imagined and hoped, that he would joke with it and say 9/10, because of Vin :D
Love all your videos joe, but for some reason, every time I watch your videos, I have to pump the volume up. That’s all, just have a great day.
