The Fujitsu ceo is going to be at the guildhall! That’s a disgrace.
Is the emperor aware or this is when the ‘ emperor’s new clothes ‘ shows itself in plain sight and no one including the Duke of Edinburgh is going to say a word! Yeah they will continue this pomp and circumstance as if nothing has happened, nothing new! What a shame though!

In Japanese culture failure is not tolerated.
Trust me. If I was the Fujitsu CEO I'd be finding any excuse not to be there.
Because im sure the Emperor will be fully aware of this criminal act on the people involved.

Could we give an award to the brave Japanese lady who tried to stop the deluded Puritans from defacing Stonehenge?

It’s been interesting watching the response of my mother’s generation.
My mother is (a good) 97 yrs old and was a teenager during WW2 and this fact along with the typical loss of her speech ‘filter’ - a well known phenomenon seen in the elderly - was behind her watching the video clip of them arriving in London on telly and then turning to me darkly remarking “I don’t like this, they were very cruel’ ...to Allied POW’s, and also did unspeakable atrocities in nations they overran in WW2 especially in Korea and China.
I try to explain to her that these events were 80-90 yrs ago and now are genuinely ‘ just old ‘history’ but to her and the few others left of her vintage (who the BBC calls the ‘greatest generation’) the events of the 1930’s and early 40’s are still fresh in their mind.

Julian Assange departure is a historic advent. The Emperor’s visit a foot note. The tone deafness to the post office scandal is disgraceful.

I actually disagree, not only was Fujitsu not at fault when it came to the suppression of the post office scandal, but they are also an incredibly important Japanese company. I would have been surprised hadn’t he been invited.
