Thanks for your videos Manthieus, I'm looking forward to the other professions first look videos. I really hope weekly knowledge points will be easier to aquire and there will be a catchup mechanic. I hope you will have more info on that later.
@0:26 "Firstly, it actually looks quite Cool." - I TOLD YOU! lol - TWW Eng is looking like it will actually be a proper Profession for the first time in many Expansions, rather than some weird MinMax Utility Proff mostly for people who just really love Loot-A-Rang's & Rocket Boots. I got the vibe that Blizzard purposefully took some of Alchemy's extremely high power and gave it to Engineering. Alchemy still has lots to do, cause trust me you're gonna be selling Flasks, Phials, and Health Potions like crazy, it just probably isn't the BIS "Every-Man" Profession by a mile anymore; and in turn Engineering is no longer the weird Red-Headed-Step-Child of Professions. I could be wrong though, and Blizzard could upturn the entire dynamic with just a few numbers-adjustments to the Consumables, but I've been very optimistic about Eng since the moment I saw the Potion Bombs. ... I gotta actually watch the video now lol.
@@blckkeef You do - with some focus in the mining tree - but not everyone will do that. I don't want it for myself, I want a mining skygolem because I think it would sell like hotcakes :D
Engineering slot machine galore. And the tinkers for gear slots are meh.... Random teleporter is meh. Since SL they saw that i was too good. - fun detected - Engineering is basicly kept alive on a drip by goblin glider and nitro boost on belt.
They ought to make Engineering a secondary profession like fishing and cooking... while they're at it add mining and herbalism!
As I dip into more TWW content..its looking like DF 2.0 in regards to professions. Hopefully it's will be worth the effort.
