US consulate has approved emergency appointment request for my daughter, ustraveldocs portal did show me the emergency appointment availability is as early as next day of submission if ER is approved but I do not see any dates being available earlier than my originally scheduled date (sept 06) and in fact I cannot go back to previous months in the calendar. The ER is approved until 29 June which is 2 days from now. I would greatly appreciate if you could share your experience and tips.

YUP, HE CHARGES WAY TOO MUCH! AND SOMETIMES IT FEELS ABSURD, NO OFFENCE COZ I AM REALLY GRATEFUL FOR YOUR VIDEOS, BUT THE CHARGES ARE REALLY HIGH! Hey Yash, I have already consumed my regular 1 +4 reschedule chances and still my interview date is bit late for me. I have gone through my VAC appointment. MY regular VI is on july 30th and I have to appear on the university before Aug 1. Can I now file for an EA and get a chance to schedule my appointment for the earliest possible date??

We have been approved for B2 visa for group request and it's been over a week it's keep showing "your group size is larger than the current allocation" even though there are just two applicants. When we asked USCIS over feedback they said it's first come first serve basis so there are no available appointments when you search. We are keep checking like every hour in a day over a week but no luck. Do you know what time they release the appointment dates for emergency visas ?
does in person orientation also count as start date for program as my university is organizing in person mandatory organization for international student.. will that be counted as start date?

My class start date is on August 9, 2022. and the earliest visa interview appointment date I got in my country (Ethiopia) is on August 9, 2022, after requesting an expedited interview. I'm already studying in the US since 2020 , but I came India in March 2020 due To COVID. I look Leave of Absence for two semesters , fall 2020 and spring 2021. I attended online classes for fall 2021. I got a new i20 for spring 2022. Do I have to pay thr sevis fee again? Pls pls pls pls reply!!
If you get a new i20 with the same sevis id then you dont have to pay the sevis fees again, check for your Sevis Id on passport and the new sevis Id, I am in the same boat. I went to US in spring 2021 and came back for surgery and had to defer my admission.

Hey Yash, I have a question for you. Consider the scenario where we booked an EA appointment and after the visa interview out visa is not approved. So, in this case our normal appointment is gone and we need to book new one or our normal appointment remains as it is and can we go and give interview on the scheduled day

What if your emergency request is accepted but you are not able to book the date that is before your program start date. Can you request another emergency appointment?

Don't pay for a new MRV fee, just send an email to the consulate asking them to extend your emergency appointment because you couldn't book an earlier date.
