BC Racing is the way to go, love em on my G37 Sedan and getting ready to also install on my 370z soon too. Nice job, good luck with the channel 😃.
Thank you I appreciate it
How is the ride quality and is there any handling improvements? Going to get these for my sedan
Thanks homie very helpful 🙏
Imma be installing coilovers tmr on my g hope everything goes smooth
Take your time and it should be a piece of cake.
did you ever figure out a way to adjust the dampening without having to take off the coilover in the rear?😊
No there’s no other way for the rear unless you you drill through your chassis but I wouldn’t recommend that
The ones I got you just need to remove the wheel and reach up where the two 12mm bolts are, they changed their design.
yo bro I don’t know if you remember but like what’s a complete list of everything I will need to install coilovers on my g37 sedan?
You definitely need a breaker bar and a adjustable wrench. Other then that just a ratchet and some sockets. Some pb blaster or wd 40 is always helpful also.
Yo bro I’m boutta buy some bc coils and run the same wheels. Did you get custom spring rates or did you just order them straight off of z1?
Straight off of z1. The RH version of the bc’s are personally my favorite.
@@rickytube2375 thanks man, do u have an Instagram I’m trynna follow the build.
@@kinohimathews8455 yes I do 2jbailey
Yoo bro did your bc coils start making noise after installing them & also can you adjust the ride height while their on the car or is it better to remove it and adjust
No mine didn’t make noise. you can adjust the front while they’re on the car, but you gotta take off the back coils to be able to adjust them
@@rickytube2375 you mean to adjust the dampening ik you gotta take off the rear but i mean the ride height because i wanna raise the rear a little bit can i do it while its on the car or gotta take em off
@@IvanV36 oh yeah my fault I miss read that. Yes, you can lower and raise your coils while they’re installed on the car
Hey did your rear shocks come with the flanges on top to bolt into the car? I ordered mine and ive been installing them and I think i need to swap the top flanges over lmk if u had the same issue. Also thank you sm for this video helped me so much i keep coming back to it
Which coilovers did you buy? Mostly every coilover comes with everything to install it
@@rickytube2375 i got the br series for the sedan it just came with the top piece almost looking like it was missing the part of the dust cover on the original (the flange bracket at the top to connect the strut to the car) i think i have to swap them over from the oem ones but im not sure
@@sindrifts I didn’t swap anything over I just installed everything how it was, you can swap it if you want.
@@rickytube2375 thank you after watching ur vid and doing some more research bc didnt send me the brackets at the top onto my strut idk why that happened but ive been emailing them. Thank you again for the informative video and quick replys.
@@sindriftsdid u ever figure out the problem cuz im having the same problem rn
Can you go way lower? Like can you tuck the rear if you wanted
Yeah I can. However my wheels are a little to wide for my rear fenders so I would have to roll them if I wanted to go lower.
Hey man, nice video. I have been trying to find some good coilovers. I was thinking BC however on the g37 forums i've read they make noise. I am planning to get some rims that are 20x9 in the front and 20x10 in the back. tires 245/35/20 in the front and 275/30/20 in the rear. Id like a smooth ride close to factory with some aggressiveness for weaving in traffic. Not going to a track or doing any racing. Do you think these BC coilovers would give clearance in the front and back with no rub at all. I've searched forums and again i've read bc makes noise and not that great. Can you provide some feedback on your wheel/rim size as well as the ride with the BC coilovers. Thanks
I have a 2010 g37s. everything factory right now
I’ve had the bc’s on for about four months and I haven’t had one noise issue. But when I had bc’s on my z they did make noise and they were the br rs version but it rode like factory. I think it depends on the version on bc’s you get. I got the the br rh version. They have pillowball top mounts which give you that low stiff quality ride. I run 19x10.5 in the rear and i have really good clearance and don’t rub unless my car is packed down with people. You might rub with your rear tires with 20’s but should be good in the front.
@@rickytube2375 Okay, thank you for such a quick response. If i'm not mistaken, they are adjustable. So I'll raise it to make it not rub. Not really interested in having a low ride. I just want it to be look nice with wheels and not sit up like a 4x4 with stock suspension. But based off of your response, I can trust these BC coilovers well not make noise and have a smooth ride. Thanks again.
Question did you leave the back springs on the car? I installed the coilovers with springs but I also leave the de stock springs there
No I didn’t leave the springs in
I failed putting them on today the bolts are so too tight and I was almost gonna strip one .
Put some pb blaster and wd 40 and let them soak for almost a day. If you feel like their stripped or going to get stripped then use a turbo socket. You can get them at any tool store
When putting true coilovers in the rear do you leave the spot where the coil spring was empty? My rear looks the same way on my maxima and I don’t know if I’m suppose to leave the bucket empty with no spring?
Need toe arms
@@CharlieOAM someone on insta with the rev9 coils said I can just take out the coil spring and leave the bucket empty which is probably what I’ll do
Yo I know this an older vid but just wondering how the ride comfort is and do you scrape? Thinking about these for a daily
The ride comfort is really good, it gotta be the rh version tho for the bc’s. Best type of coilovers I have ever had. I scrape all the time, but that’s cause of how low I have it so it depends on your ride height. I daily my car so I would say these coilovers are good to daily
@@rickytube2375 ay thank you so much for the reply 👍👍
Bro you got a link for these?
@@franciscoserrano9045 they should be linked in the description of the vid
Those rubber parts from the original springs at 19:00, are you supposed to put them onto the new ones?
If you’re not installing true coilovers then yes
Where did you buy your front lip ? & how much ?
I bought it from TunerzStore for like 300 but the price has gone up

Yo man just went from a 2012 g37X sedan to a 2010 g37 sedan. Was driving my 2012 g37x sedan daily with about 1/2 inch clearance for 2 years and ended up cracking my flywheel which lead to a pin hole in my tourqe converter. Cost 6,000$ to fix. How long have you been slammed without issues??? Looking at installing some bc coilovers on my 2010 g37 sedan but noticed the oil pan is exposed, since it’s rear wheel drive. On my 2012 g37x the front sway bar took every impact while I was scraping down the road, since it sat about 3/4th of an inch lower than the RWD G37.
I had my car lowered for about 10 months now. I think I’m about inch or 2 off of the ground I haven’t had much issues. The worst thing that has happened to me is scraping my exhaust. But it all depends where you live at because I know some roads are so bad for having a lower car.
@@rickytube2375 okay good stuff man ima send it forsure and pray that I never crack an oil pan!
@@rickytube2375DUDE those sway bar end link nuts are torqued so damn tight I can’t even get the end link off any tips?? Just made an appointment at the shop gonna spend 400 bucks for them to do it :(
any issues besides the scraping? i’m ab to upgrade to BC DS coilovers. I’m driving a 2012 G37x coupe
where did you buy the v1 nismo? and what are the specs for front and rears?
I bought them off of someone. You can buy them brand new from z1 but they’re really expensive. I’m running a staggered set up, 9.5 in the front and 10.5 in the back with 255/35 tires all around
Did you adjust the preload or just ride in factory preload?
Factory preload. Bc tends to have good preload from factory.
What did you like about the rh vs ra
I love the pillowball top mounts the rh has. Rh ride feels stiffer but very smooth. When I had the ra on my 350z they felt very bouncy.
Where can i get these at the same specs ?
They’re linked in the description
Yapped
Love the content bro! I’m definitely gonna have to get those true coils, what’s your IG?
Just followed ya on Twitter G

What size are your wheels
those are 19s, the nismo v1 from a 370z
Bro I’m struggling with the rears so much
The rears should be the easiest, what exactly are you struggling with ?
What size tires are you on
255/35
Is your g37 awd ?
No it’s rwd
Would an awd g have different installation?
@@Caleb____ yes, the fronts are different and most likely a little harder.
