  • 🎥 Unboxing the Elta Solar 42 🎥
Welcome to my first-ever unboxing video! I’m excited to share this experience with you as I dive into the Elta Solar 42-a unique and powerful synthesizer that's been making waves in the music world. Whether you're a synth enthusiast or just curious, this video will give you an up-close look at this incredible piece of gear.
The Elta Solar 42 is known for its distinctive approach to synthesis, combining analog warmth with innovative digital controls. It features 42 tunable oscillators and 6 control panels, allowing you to create complex, evolving soundscapes. With a design inspired by solar flares and cosmic energy, this synth is perfect for those looking to push the boundaries of their sound.
In this unboxing, I’ll walk you through the first impressions, the design, and the components included with the Solar 42. You'll get a firsthand look at what makes this synthesizer so special, and why it's generating so much buzz in the electronic music community.
I’m thrilled to bring you along on this journey as I explore the Solar 42 for the first time. I hope you enjoy this unboxing as much as I enjoyed making it!

I had a jupiter 4 in the 90s it sounded like early tangerine dream
Used it with a ppg wave 2.3 waldorf microwave one , wave station and an alfa juno .
It was such a great contrast to the other machines so organic and unstable , I would use it for like rithmic drone loops and then play the nobs with the wave station doing brake beats with its wave sequencer

    • @Knightsnare
      @Knightsnare  24 дні тому

That sounds like a super powerful setup! The PPG wave must have been spectacular! Have you seen or played the UDO Super 6?

@Knightsnare no I have a jupiter 6 , but I am not active anymore because of problems with the industry, the waldorf was a special one delivered to me from
Christopher frank of tangerine dream and wolfram palmer it's creater , it was built out of better components, programed exactly the same just sounded better, this setup led to alot of writing for the vnv nation empires in 1996 . I was 25 years old at the time , they were trying to warn me about the industry and not to show up in Germany
My madin name is hagemen ,it s ww II stuff

@Knightsnare I used the jp4 on dark angel for the drone loop , I don't know if they did , I used the wave station for the waves sequence drum , they used the ensoiq eps , not as 3 dimensional but my focus was on live in a warehous and they wanted a good stereo recording, the wave station is setup for quad and 3d imaging of the sound , alot of people don't know that about it . The live version of this was sick assuming you had the right sound system and space to project it .

My musical career has involved many sacrifices, including a nearly 10-year pause to focus fully on my family while my kids were growing up. Now that they're a bit older and I have a little more space for myself, I'm finally able to explore my passion again. It's never been easy, but being able to pursue music now feels incredibly rewarding.

I do want to take a moment to say, thank you first of all to have engaged with the content, I appreciate it. There is a beautiful moment when you are in the process of waiting for something, or developing your own skills, or entering into a relationship that is magical. I have tried to keep that vibe with music my whole life, whether that means deliberately limiting my knowledge of classical comprehension or not trying to actively pursue a career in music. This little thing is my passion because, here I know I can grow forever. This makes it immortal, and that's something that I'm very keen in exploring. I would love to hear your thoughts on what this stuff means to you.

      @@Knightsnare my pleasure.
Indeed, to make music, it is not necessary to be well versed in music theory or harmony.
I went to the music conservatory in saxophone, I also took a few piano lessons but not enough to master the basics.
I work a lot by ear, my songs are quite simple, but, they sound, that's the main thing for me.
If my listeners perceive what I felt and convey in my songs, then so much the better. Otherwise, it's not a big deal.
Music is a slow reflection of the soul, as I like to say.
The only thing we have to prove is to ourselves, and not to others.
I hope I have met your expectations with my writings.
