This is Standard Arabic
The official language in all Arab countries
The language of instruction in schools, universities and all institutions of Arab countries
But slang is different
In every Arab country has its own language
In most countries, more than one slang also

I have a suggestion, Since a person with intermediate level only can learn from videos, i think you dont need to explain word by word, other than non common words. As in the video, keep arabic and english texts , read three times the sentence.
