  • Take a seat, sit back and relax. Get ready for some of the most exciting shooting we have captured on film this year, as we visited the tremendous Llechweddygarth Shooting Estate. I used up most of my reserves in the think tank to pull some of these monsters out of the sky. You will see some of the most amazing shots I have ever done. Relying on pure instinct and time served in the field. All helping me accomplish what I think are some of the most outrageous shots caught on camera.

Hi Dave, I'm a frenchman with a passion for beautiful shoots and obviously GB is the best country in the world for it. The only country left where shooting and estate management by professional keepers who respect the countryside reign over all others. I've been an avid fan of your films for a while and I'd like to thank you for this one as it prompted me to call Martin. I'm now shooting 2 days at Lechweddygarth in january thanks to you. I wish I could only be lucky enough to meet you there!! If the shoot is as good as it looks, I will be bringing some French boys over and taking a couple of days every year. So please keep them coming, it helps in choosing the good ones. Many thanks.

Its unfortunate Dave, but you won't please everyone. People have their own views and some have made their point in the comments. However, you are showing the shoot for what it is. You show everything in your film about how the shoot day goes, what goes on behind the scenes and how it benefits the countryside. You don't use the film just to show how many "high birds" you can shoot, instead its a great insight to what a days shooting is like.

As far as brands go game bore, hull and eley have good selections. My personal favourite all round game cartridge is the gamebore pigeon extreme, 34 gram 5 shot and it will kill anything and not obliterate the close birds, and it’s actually quite cheap.

welshfowler I too am a wildflower and I can understand this is totally different shooting. Wild foreshore ducks and geese are built like brick shit houses to survive the climate they are in which is why you wouldn’t take shots like this not too mention there isn’t a team of pickers up behind you on the marsh too pick up a bird if you do injury it. A driven pheasant shoot is an environment where you can take shots like this. Besides I didn’t see many winged birds here did you?

Were supposed to be united the antis won't think much to your form of shooting either, big money and powerful people will be our saviour.
