This just proves you don’t need the latest and greatest to get a great experience on iPhone. A little over a month ago I went from a XR to a 13 and I honestly can’t tell a huge difference between the two. The hardware looks a bit more refined on the 13 but the XR looks equally as premium. This is where Apple shines versus android because you can pick up a XR now and still have a phone that will last another 2-3 years between software updates and security patches. And this test also proves benchmark scores don’t mean anything in real world usage sometimes. The XR is definitely one of my favorite iPhone designs and I hope it gets iOS 18 because it’s still a very capable device.
Of course, however, for me the xr is completely sufficient, the new features do not impress me at all. I do not see the point of an upgrade. And the video shows that it is still quite fast. I think there are more such thinking people like me. Finally someone compared the new iPhone with an older model that has 100% battery capacity. Usually on the videos are models that have about 80% battery capacity
@@nomecognome2these app opening speed test dont actually show the performance level of a phone. the difference might seem unnoticeable, but if you keep using both phones for a few hours intensly, older models will probably start to lag and heat up

I have the iphone XR and it works fine but the battery life sucks on it, I literally charge it overnight and near 4 or 5 pm my time, it's at like 4 percent, even if I don't use it alot in the day
You think I’m crazy but i still use my 8 Plus from 2017 which i buy for 880$!! And i even don’t replace a battery🪫, my phone dead after 2h and have 70% battery health 😂 6 years, 6 CAROL! Imagine which effect i get if i replace my 8+ to 15🤯

@@aldairgarcia4767 battery life is insane, you go from ur phone dying every 2-3 hours to it lasting the whole day, ive been using my phone since 8 am at 100% and its still at 38 percent at almost 5 pm.
Keep your 13 for another 2-3 years. You’re not missing out on anything. The iPhone 15 is nice, but it’s not a MASSIVE upgrade from my 12 mini. 3 years of mobile innovation 5 years ago just isn’t the same as 3 years is innovation today.
You need to go to settings and disable a lot of unecessary features that drain battery. Watch youtube videos about it. I did it and my battery doing the same as before the update to ios17.
I have an iPhone XR I bought last year. I love it. The speakers need to be replaced but the battery capacity is at 81% it moved 1% in a year. I have an iPhone 12 I bought this July? The battery capacity was at 83% now on October it’s at 79% I’m going to have to spend $89 to replace the battery
I bought the XR when it was new. like 5 days of release. And upgraded to the 15 Pro a week ago. a MASSIVE difference lol
I owned a XR since released (2018), and upgraded to 15 Pro Max this October. The upgrade is amazing in all aspects. =)
ill do the same
How big was the leap though? I’m planning on going from XR to 15 and I wanna get a sense of the actual improvements I’ll see

No difference, so stays with my iPhone XR with new fresh replaced battery. Huge thanks for this video
I’d say even an iPhone 8 is fast enough. The reason people upgrade is definitely not how fast a phone opens apps

The cost of replacing the battery is about 74 euros in my country. At an authorized Apple service.
I got peace of mind with my iPhone XR. ❤
From Xr to 15 is a huge jump not just for speed but for everything else it has to offer
upgraded from 11 to 15pm, can't see any major differences to explore, just a little bit quicker everywhere, and better battery life

My XR still performs great but the battery life is absolute garbage and it’s on its second battery now
Any heating issue you noticed while using it ?
So when you change the battery is there any difference in battery and performance?
after changing the battery I usually get 4-5 hr SOT but my device still heats up sometimes.

using 12 mini as my main phone for the last year no complaints thus far had xr before this one
@hunterforlan6738 yes it lasts a whole day unless you are doing heavy intensive stuff
The XR looks like it’s in a case 💀
the onlyy problem with XR is battery, out of this still a perfect phone
im using the iphone se 3rd generation and the a15 bionic chip is very similar to the a16. 4gb of ram is plenty

What about the difference of battery life? My XR has 10 hrs SOT 2 years ago... Now it's only 6-8hrs max

Idk but my xr never lags like that on ios 17
Only one second difference in normal apps, thats not bat for the XR!
Why’s is the 15s screen temperature so warm. I hate that
Can you do XS vs 15 Pro speed test?
iam fine with few seconds delay , no big change in speed.
