    Has Brant's "On the Nature of Things" been removed from UA-cam? That was also the first piece of his that I fell in love with as a teenager.

    Brant interested me through The Nature of Things. Then this one The 4th Millenium. A distinctive voice. Nice musical discovery. Try it.

      This is Brant's The Fourth Millennium (Henry later called it Millennium IV). Originally composed in 1963 for hn, trp (2), trb, tuba. Revised ca. 1967 with euphonium instead of tuba; the euphonium version is also a little shorter.
