girl don’t i have it and it’s nice but you can only get a blow out look (curls don’t usually last) and tbh it’s not worth $600. It’s nice, but there’s so many dupes/roller brushes that would do the same!😅

It’s definitely got a learning curve! I have long hair and couldn’t keep a curl to save my life… until I started with damp hair WITH STRONG MOUSE then hairspray afterwards. My moms a stylist and recommended that. Also pinning the curls in place to cool helps too. I personally only use it for blow drying, smoothing & volume.. not for curling unfortunately .. I don’t like the curls in long hair… For curl I use my T3 interchangeable curling wands.

It’s not worth it . I end up using my curling iron and other tools. It also takes forever to get the style you want. Only plus is no heat damage but if you style infrequently not a huge diff in hair health.

You’re using this wrong. Hair should be damp but make sure your roots are dry. Hold middle of strand & let it wrap itself. Once fully dry, use cold shot until fully cool then turn it off and release.

I dont really like it tbh, i think if you're the person that uses heat everyday then yh i think it's a good investment but the curls dont even last that long and it doesnt even straighten my hair properly. i'm going to a dyson demo to see how a pro does it, if it still doesnt look good on me (i have natural wavy hair either way) then i'm gonna return it. I havve seen people get even better results with the dyson which is why i want to wait it out. Hopefully all goes well

Best investment I ever did. I’ve had the first air wrap for 2 years now. Just a little tip, turn off the air wrap first before removing the hair so it’s not blowing your hair and creating frizz.
Just a little tip: first make a curl, then do a cool shot (you can see on the device how to give a cool shot) and after that turn it of before releasing the curl! This unfortunately is not the right way to use the airwrap🙈
Surely it works better on damp hair. My wife has this and we tried it on both sides of her hair. One is damp (like 80% wet) and one side is almost already dried and the difference is evident. The side that is 80% wet really looked smoother when it finished and the side that is almost dried out before using AirWrap lools okay but very frizzy and looked like there was a lot of heat damage. AirWrap just like the AirStraight works better when your hair is more than 50% wet. Hence why there is a pre styling dryer to dry it just a tad bit.

At 5 foot I often find that some products are too big for me to use. My arm length makes it too uncomfortable and to awkward to use. If Dyson are looking to improve it then consider reducing the length of the handset. I would live to own one but won't till they redevelop the dryer.
Can someone tell me how to keep the blowout the day after? like my hair are perfect once I style them, but then I don't know how to keep them overnight.. If i sleep on them they lose everything, if I made them in a braid or bun they take the shape..

You need to cool shot and turn off the Dyson before finishing a section girly. It's still pulling on the hair while youre taking it away which affects the finished curl bc you're not turning it off at all just pulling it away

I actually let it spin while pulling the dyson downward so it makes a tighter curl. They loosen a lot for me so that way my curls last really long.

Not worth it. A regular curling wand can get you better, long lasting results
Use the curling attachment on wet hair with some curling gel mouse or cream and it makes a HUGE difference
