Ben’s getting all this hate just because of the F4 twist, which isn’t his fault he was in it. Hate the game not the player. Even without that twist his win was fully deserved.
I agree to an extent. I don't think his win was fully deserved, he's out at 4 without the last minute twist so I can't call it fully deserved without the twist at all. I literally love Ben. He saved himself four or five times in a row at the end and never gave up, I think he totally deserved his win. He’s my vote to win season 40,
The other players deserved their fate of losing to ben's bombs, they got way too comfortable when they knew they had numbers and didn't even attempt to look for idols in the last few tribals. If you're gonna be mad at him as a winner, focus it on the other players that let him endlessly search with no competition.
The other castaways built Ben up by only targeting him. They should've been trying to build their own resume and let Ben play idols on himself with no votes.
Ben is one of my favorite players to win this game. I don’t care what people say about him, he is a good person and a caring man, who served in the Marines to fight and defend our country. He deserved to win
Ben is in my top five favorite winners of Survivor. Everyone wanted him gone and he outplayed every single one of them. He kept his cool and dominated this game. No one deserved it more than him. I support Ben's win 100%. His Tribal councils are some of my favorite. He used the immunity idol and wielded power like no one i've ever seen. Well done Ben!
Ok for those of you who said that he had a rigged game, first of all it was his teammates fault for not looking for an idol before he found one they just slept there and stuff, two how do u know that the producers wanted him to win. Proof because if there is show it to me. Third it was the jury’s decision. We’re u frikin there to vote him out? I don’t think so, so shut up
Edwin ZOU it his teammates fault for not looking for idols in my opinion. They just sat there on the beach relaxing being like, “Oh yeah we can get him out easily”. The fire making challenge wouldn’t have even made a difference if they didn’t look for idols.
i'm glad to see someone else believe it's not rigged. that whole thing is bullshit and honestly people only say that because they think chrissy got robbed, but whether or not it was ben or devon sitting at the final 3, she wasn't going to win anyway
yeah I dont think it was rigged at all. like in cagayan why would they do the final 2 it almost screwed tony. Sometimes twists just happen and he took advantage of it. he went looking for idols and beat out a ton of other people looking at a group by waking up early. before the 7 he was always in the majority until they realized he was too good and he had to win out using advantages.
@@theshinythings123 thank you. another person who actually makes sense regarding that season. honestly i think people just wanna say it was rigged because there pissed that chrissy and devon lost, and they refuse to look at common sense
He’s honestly a really great winner. He played very good in the outwit, outplay, and outlast part on Survivor. Played a great game pre merge forming the connections he needed and was safe pretty much the whole way through even at swap. Start of merge he played well and he and Lauren went with the heroes and hustlers and blindsided Jessica. He was seen as a big threat to the Healers after that and still stayed alive. He was being viewed as a huge contender to win since the merge vote and nobody targeted him until F7 which he made sure he was prepared for. He probably didn’t even need the F6 idol but finding idols and advantages are apart of the game and he’s the one who has gotten them because he worked his ass off to get it. That just adds to his gameplay that he found 3 freaking idols that’s amazing. Ben is a very great and solid winner. And the hypocrisy with some of these survivor fans because if he would’ve lost people would’ve said he’s one of the best to never win but now that he’s won everyone is complaining just to complain.
it sucks when people don't want to credit him finding idols on his own. i mean they'll credit chrissy for winning immunities non-stop, and i truly respect that, but ben fought just as hard as chrissy to stay. and maybe he got lucky with the fire making challenge at the end, but ben just benefited from what the game put in. i think that people say it's rigged to feel better that chrissy didn't win, but the people who think that aren't using real logic.
You're right about Chrissy being arrogant, but Ben was right next to her on that department. He was cocky and sometimes humilliating with his bombs (I mean, what did Ashley did to him to receive that treatment?)
RedxZone They barley tried. if they really wanted him gone, they would’ve found idols before he could and played a better game. Ben is one of the best winners in my book
Why did no one ever go look for idols after they had been played? The only one who did was Ben. Ryan, he’s the biggest weakling I’ve ever seen. Sucked at EVERY challenge. If Ryan claimed being such a “super fan”, he should know that every time an idol is played, it comes back into play. Such idiots in this season. They all ganged up on Ben. And yet, he had the last laugh on every one of them.
i agree. he could've been like colton in one world and blood vs water and just quit, but he didn't. that's what makes him a great player. i think that he's inspiring to all of us to never give up, even when all hope seems lost
Lafing Scarecrow Absolutely. However, survivor fans who don’t really understand the game tend to be the ones that spout things like this. Talk to any Russel hantz fan, and they’ll tell you “he was robbed twice, the jury was bitter” without understanding that’s the reason he never won. Every winner deserves to win. Can you argue that someone deserved to win “more”? Absolutely. But if someone won, they deserved it. As for Ben in particular, he’s one of the greatest winners of all time. This guy had to win immunities / play idols 4 tribals in a row in order to make it to the final 4. Then he had to be picked for the fire making challenge (which, is not his fault he got picked) and win the fire making twist (only easy part, he was clearly going to win as a vet, it’s one of the first things you learn in the military) and then he has to win the votes, which was going to be difficult with Chrissy there.
@@WhoStoleMyNachos i like the way you think. and people can argue that chrissy was robbed, but whether or not ben or devon made it to the f3, one of them was winning

He's not a terrible player, but will go down as one of the weakest survivor winners. He started out strong, but made a series of mistakes that would've cost him if it wasn't for the crazy amount of idols planted for him to find. Also, that final twist was the ultimate bs in a season already filled with way too many advantages and idols. Say what you will about people like Fabio and Natalie, at least they didn't idol their way to the finish.
The other contestants had the same opportunity to find the “just idols”. Or take shifts following him to prevent or find the idol first. Ben had better play than all of them
I think that Ben is one of the worst winners yet I think he played a pretty good game. I think that Chrissy should have won but whatever. Had Ben been voted out at the f4 instead of having a fire making challenge I think he would have been a much better character.
there's one person who had a big hand in ben's win, and it's the person who wanted ben out the most, and that's dr. mike. because had mike not played his idol at the cole vote, there wouldn't have been an idol for ben to find and use at the right time. mike foolishly playing his idol hurt him way more than people think.

Ben is easily one of my favorite players. If there is ever another Heroes vs Villains season, production has to try and bring him back for the Heroes Tribe.

This was my favorite survivor. Ben was awesome.
The other players deserved their fate of losing to ben's bombs,

If you're gonna be mad at him as a winner, focus it on the other players that let him endlessly search with no competition.

Yeah
Ben absolutely deserved to win. Anyone who disagrees was just bitter
Watching from ZIMBABWE. YASSS the right person won!!!!!
The other castaways built Ben up by only targeting him. They should've been trying to build their own resume and let Ben play idols on himself with no votes.
by saying how big of a threat he was they themselves could have invented the narrative of him being a threat at the end
Ben is one of my favorite players to win this game. I don’t care what people say about him, he is a good person and a caring man, who served in the Marines to fight and defend our country. He deserved to win

Ben is the best survivor. He's survived more shit than any of you can imagine. Semper Fi.
“Okay, night night”
The most underrated comment😁
Ben's run was there most entertaining thing I've seen in survivor up to season 35. It was awesome.
Props to Ben for pulling off what he could, but his final days were nevertheless disappointing to watch.
I liked it, I hope he can do the same for season 40
i thought they were thrilling
1:24 at that point I knew he was going to win this game.
I agree. I’m gonna say this is the greatest player to play idols
yeah I dont think it was rigged at all. like in cagayan why would they do the final 2 it almost screwed tony.
Good person- but the game has just thrown in too many twists instead of balancing social relationships
the game is the game. if you don't like it, watch another game.
he did have better relationships than the 2 at the end which is why they voted for him.
Survivor is the ultimate “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.” So to hate Ben because of the GAME twist, it makes no sense.
Lafing Scarecrow Hes like Rick Devens but Rick Devens is probably even worse and people are saying Rick is one of the best to never win
@@bangaliekanu5852 well i honestly like rick devens too, but i've always thought he played a similar game to ben's.

You're right about Chrissy being arrogant, but Ben was right next to her on that department. He was cocky and sometimes humilliating with his bombs (I mean, what did Ashley did to him to receive that treatment?)
RedxZone he found the idols, the fire challenge thing was rigged tho
RedxZone They barley tried. if they really wanted him gone, they would’ve found idols before he could and played a better game. Ben is one of the best winners in my book

I really like both ben and devon, it really sucked that devon had to go out that way but ben still deserved the win.

Why did no one ever go look for idols after they had been played? The only one who did was Ben. Ryan, he’s the biggest weakling I’ve ever seen. Sucked at EVERY challenge. @@WhoStoleMyNachos exactly. so people should blame the game, not the player
Lafing Scarecrow
Absolutely.
