Happy New Year JB 😀 I'd pick the MC20 if it was 500kg lighter. I'd pick the Artura if I hadn't seen how many bits fell off in the Throttle House review. I'd pick the Roma if Ferrari knew what a button was. As it is, I feel very boring for saying this, but you just can't go wrong with a Turbo S. Of course, park it next to an MC20 and nobody will give a toss about the Porsche. The only car I've not mentioned is the AMG, but in reality I'd be choosing between a 992 C2S and AMG GTS anyway, even with money being no object.

Or, on a budget, a 981S because an 8k RPM NA flat-6 still sounds insane and that car is the perfect sports car sweet spot for road use as a non-racing driver who couldn't slide a GT3RS around safely!

The weight of the MC20 is an issue for me because it's a supercar and it should feel lively but weight holds that back. Huge, modern tyres compensate for a lot of that but not enough. Weight in a luxury car I get, although a top spec, late model GS450h is only 140kg heavier than an MC20! That's larger in almost every dimension, has a bigger engine and hybrid gubbins too, plus 5 seats and silly stuff like moisturising aircon... Honestly, even my Porsche I wouldn't say felt that light and that was 1325kg. Considering its more exotic materials, I feel like that's more like what an MC20 should weigh. Not like it's lugging around a big V12 either, why bother downsizing if not for weight? Not like they're going for economy, plus turbos ruin that in reality anyway (which is why the 718 engine is stupid). Sorry, I've been verbose this week even by my standards...

I’ll second Mercedes poor customer service on repairs. Needed trans flush on her E class and second dealer wanted a wait of 6 weeks, I just did it myself. Now we have newer S class. Tried to schedule first oil change and they want 2 1/2 weeks to get in.
dont forget dealerships run off of a floor plan so after 30 days they have to reduce the prices of the cars to get them fof there lots as there rates they pay will go up unlesss they get rid of old stock so they becomes desperate to shift the cars
Personally, I think the McLaren GT is a fantastic value in this range! And you still get V8, carbon fiber tub, doors that open up, lightweight, lots of storage space, and they are relatively reliable.
The only design ascetic I didn't care for in the Roma was the checkerboard front grill. Otherwise it's an attractive Ferrari and could be a bargain if you're just getting into the Ferrari game.
Meh, if you can afford to buy any of these then the maintenance costs will still be totally irrelevant really. A 992 Turbo S isn't cheap to run, Porsche reliability is nowhere near as good as people think and it'll eat more tyres than Germans eat sausages...but we're still talking broadly similar running costs to an F80 M3, for example, so perhaps 3-4x more than a well-maintained basic Fiesta or something. The others I'd guess are 50-100% more than that. Considering the difference in purchase costs, these have a *lot* of depreciating to do before it's a problematic factor.
after gtr pro,there is a black series. Roma for the exterior first look, nobody recognise that is a Ferrari without seeing the logo. Artura is a hybrid super car but the performance is not good enough especially compare 296gtb. MC20 costs too much as brand new and interior is overly simple. Turbo s has to be respected.
People need to stop thinking of supercars as an INVESTMENT and think of them as a good product that you buy. You buy a sofa, you have spent that money and you arent getting it back. Only a very few select cars are going to MAKE you money.
Would love to own a MC20 definitely absolutely nothing in common with the MC12. Honestly it’s just the name that kills it. Should have market it under its own new name. McLaren Mp4-12C is best value super car if don’t mind getting something a bit older. And if your super strapped for cash a corvette C5 is best value 10k and another 10-12k will get you a reliable 1000hp car.
All expensive luxury vehicles experience massive depreciation in there first few years on the road. This is how normal working class people like me ,can own and drive a Bentley !!....😅😂

IF you are going to adjust the initial price for inflation, which I think is ridiculous bearing in mind its high inflation that is causing these cars to drop in price, at least mention the ACTUAL retail price back then, and after this adjust it if you like. This is worse than click bait as NO ONE buys a car thinking how much it would be today IF adjusted for inflation...... So either stop it or include the actual pricing please.. otherwise.. good videos
I think he just means "for the money" or "compared to rivals" - 3.4 is quick, but it's also only 10% faster than an Audi RS3, for a *lot* more money. Even ignoring EVs, you can get well under 3s to 60 for less money (e.g. GT-R or Turbo S). I'd compare lap times too, but it seems no big name testers have really even bothered setting times with a Roma, so that probably says a fair bit. Obviously pace isn't why you buy a Roma, but when considering just that aspect and what the car is, JB's comment is totally fair.

There's also the fact that people overestimate the actual cost difference between cheap and expensive cars. You're paying net cost - so purchase price plus running costs minus sale price. A new base spec diesel Golf is a *LOT* more expensive than a £30k Porsche, for example. I say that from experience - I couldn't afford a Golf when I bought the Porsche (sold a few months back so I have the full figures). Sure, this list is well above that level, but crazy cars are more attainable than you might think. Also, it's aspirational, so if you're driving a banged up old Fiesta then it's nice to really know how far off a supercar you are. Ultimately though, UA-camr content choice is always the same - it's 50% about what they want to make and 50% about what gets views.

Agreed, the only downside of the Turbo S is that it sounds like a vacuum cleaner but who cares on a GT car of that level.
