While claiming death claim,I as a beneficiary wrongly shown reason of exit from EPF as SHORT SERVICE(OTHER REASON) instead of death as the option doesn't show DEATH option. My query is..how to rectify this issue.

Company has shown date of last joining service as 02/04/21 but employee has died on 20/04/21. How to rectify this as it is essential for claiming EDLI
Hi Kapil,
In that case you need to fill declaration form for date change and also submit death while in service certificate on company letter head. Thia will help you to get change the DOE and reason.
If you want the template for declaration and death while in service, pls share your email id.
