An acoustic cover of "Hey, Johnny Park!" by Jeff Campbell, featuring Kyle M. Terrizzi (of the Plastic Arts) and Tom Rhodes. Originally written by Dave Grohl, whose amazing and inspiring 2013 SXSW keynote speech was the topic of our conversation that afternoon. We were so jazzed on Dave's insight that we wanted to pay a quick (albeit goofy) tribute. Thanks for listening and watching!

I have an acoustic performance of this song, the foo fighters played this acoustic on 2003 or 2004.. i can't remember but am going to upload the acoustic version of this song played with the original foo fighters :3

Hi there! I didn't play it the way the Foos did. I just kinda did a hybrid of the rhythm and lead guitar parts to adapt to one acoustic. If you go to Ultimate-Guitar dot comm (can't put actual website links in these comments for some reasons) and search for the songs, there's tons of great tabs for it.

Hi Jeff, can you explain what you mean by “walk down”? I think you are playing an Em between the C and D chords in the chorus but I can’t get it to sound right.

@@rolewski91 well, I'm just walking up the low E string from open, to F# (2nd fret), to the G chord, but I'm also just playing acoustic chords, vs the actual riff Dave plays, which is in Drop D tuning and a good bit more complicated.
