Sun catchers with dichroic glass is a great idea. I made a similar project with small Christmas tree ornaments this year. Congratulations and keep the great videos coming!
I'm currently working my way through a 5 gallon bucket (about 50 pounds!) of coe96 glass scrap from a local who is kindly giving his scrap away. So, there's time sorting to get some sane color combos, but I hope to make a lot of colorful slabs as well as making some suncatchers. He's even willing to take some pieces on consignment. He's located in a very high foot traffic area so at least a lot of eyeballs! It was very pleasing to have a pro look at my beginner's pieces and give a thumbs-up.😀
Hi Bob. Wow, that's a lot of scrap. So much you can do with that. I'd love to have that problem. Yes, you need the right place to sell the work we make. If you're pricing to make a living it's not cheap. Good luck with it. Hope you sell well.
Love the idea of putting the dichro down on the kiln shelf when using black...great solution to just a black slab on one side! I will use this idea. Thanks!
Cheers Jeff, a nice easy project to try. Congrats on your 500 subs, many more to come I’m sure. I’m also sure that Ann would be quite happy minus the beard, don’t worry you still look pretty 😂 not to mention 10 years younger.
I wish! Maybe not pretty but handsome or sexy would be cool. Sadly, still just a 70 year old almost bald man 😥 Easy, but open to a lot of creative variation. Mix in some opal glass, different shapes, even embellish with some ribbon and beads, and presto!
You have an excellent talent for both speaking and teaching. I look forward to watching and learning….keep them coming.
Absolutely will. Some changes coming this year, but still the same content. Just trying to make it clearer and more informative.
Prayers to you and for your prayers for your health
Thank you Melissa. I'm fine. Sounds worse than it is. I'll still be annoying people at 90 😀
Sorry to hear about your health. I love your videos. I just started using a kiln and I find your videos helpful.
Hi Judith. Just getting older. Always happy to help.
Love this project! Thank you for sharing and for your step by step instructions. Love your videos!
You are so welcome!
This is a great way to use up scraps. Thank you!
Absolutely. Hope you're well.

Hi Gwen. I hope to do more videos on Christmas projects later in the year. Hopefully, I can help.

A sweet little project. I like what you did. Sort of reminds me someone fusing dichro bits on a clear circle for a kaleidoscope.
Hi Debra. That sounds interesting. I remember having one as a child. Food for thought.
Jeff are you using COE 96 or COW 90 in this suncatcher? Thanks for sharing a very detailed how-to video!
Hi Cherie. I use 90 COE for everything. My pleasure with the video.
Thanks for this video
My pleasure Melissa.
