Not sure it's how it is I hope that maybe later on they can offer Android TV but it's an easy fix with Firestick or TV box like the Dynalink I used which supports 4k Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
@@TechtabletsThat is not a Measurement. If you took the time to do an actual ANSI Lumens test you would have taken 16 measurements or at least 9 and then averaged them to get a number. Even Top of the line manufacturers (Epson, BenQ, Optoma, etc...) are off by up to 40%. They will market a projector as having 3200 ANSI Lumens and it only has max 2400 Lumens for example. There are many reviewers on UA-cam who prove this. So No I don't believe you. If you had said 1700 lumens I would have believed you.
Hi, great video. Sorry to trouble you but I wonder if you could help with some info please? Really interested in the P1000 as we have a small room and the short throw looks perfect. However, I've read that the if you connect the projector to external speakers via Bluetooth, the link cuts out if you play anything via hdmi? I. E it only allows you to get sound via the internal speakers? I didn't know if you could advise? Thanks for your help
@@Techtablets thanks for the message, it's much appreciated. It's a shame as it's a lovely piece of kit, and heavily discounted in the UK at the moment, but I'm just trying to weigh it up. Thanks for your help. Have a great weekend
You can but right now I saw no settings to flip the image for ceiling mounted units. Listing in the cons some settings seem to be missing. But the L500 model has it so I assume it's coming with new firmware.
probably you wont go for it, but I would love if you could do a video on how to get started as a tech product reviewer. how it was for you when you started your channel, what were your first products & how where you able to get the first product to review. theirs a ton of videos out there but simply they all beat around the bush. if I could do what you do and make 100$ a month I would be happy.
Thanks I've mentioned it earlier in a few Q & A videos and live streams etc. But I started out doing this as I go feed up with fake videos from Aliexpress sellers or brand on their products. Everything was always amazing in those videos or articles, I wanted to also mention things that were not so great. So a proper review. I started out buying all the products for years myself getting nothing sent to me doing it as a hobby only. After about 3 years brands finally started reaching out and sending me products in exchange for review videos. It all takes a lot of time and patience.
This review is incomplete. No chance this is actually a True 4K Laser Projector. At best it is a Pixel shifting 1080p projector like every other Under $4000.00 4K Projector is. I have a feeling that this Projector is a 1080p Projector that takes a 4K signal and down scales it to 1080p. The Projectors on the market that do this have a much sharper 1080p picture. Some Reviewers have said that their Friends and family thought that the picture was 4k. This Projector is way overpriced. Every New Projector at this Price has at least 2 2.2 HDMI's and 2 usable USB connections. This Projector doesn't even have eARC. (I have a $200.00 TV that has eARC that does work.) Every single other New Projector at this price has eARC. Not having eARC makes this Projector a Joke and Not worth buying. People who spend this kind of money have a Home Theater AV Receiver that they run everything through. Give me Break 6V Harmon Kardon Speakers who cares??? You don't spend this kind of money on a Projector and use 6V Speakers. 3 Million to 1 Contrast Ratio and 120% of the 709 Color range. No chance these Specifications are True. You did Not even show any 4K video. You did Nothing to show how good the Black Levels and Colors are. With these Specifications this Projector should have a Better Picture than the Top of the line OLED TV. $10,000.00 Projectors don't have Specifications this high. I suggest this is a huge Scam. Like all the other No Named Projectors sold on Amazon. Everyone of them are Garbage. How do I know they are a scam? I have bought and tested dozens of them. The current Price Range for these are Regular Price $1100.00 on Sale for $500.00. To some that sell as low as $30.00. I have bought and tested these and of course the $30.00 ones are so dim they are unwatchable. Models that you pay from $160.00 to the high end of $500.00 are watchable but the picture is washed out. You cannot get them to focus correctly. The colors and the Blacks are bad. People buy these for the kids, for outdoor movies, just to have a 100+ inch screen size. They give them rave reviews because they like the large picture size and they think the price they paid is worth it. "For the Money I like the picture Quality." These projector's listed Specifications are Not close to True. The "$1100.00" One says it is True 4K with 1100 ANSI Lumens. But in smaller print it says max 1080p. It seems to me only a handful of manufacturers are making all of them and selling them under different names. They use the same remotes, across the different manufacturers. Mostly the same operating system. Many have the exact same casings... etc... This 4K Projector you reviewed is just a much higher priced Scam. It is roping in People with more money to Spend.
That gaming sample footage looked superb, thanks for yet another straight forward review without the BS Chris.
You're welcome. Turns out this is great for gaming!
Are you positive that is a hdmi 2.1 port in the back? The official specs list it as 2.0.
Needs a hdmi arc connection for soundbar
I would need a side by side compare with the Nebula Cosmos 4k.
I don't have my Cosmos 4k any more it was returned to them.
How's it compare to the jmgo ultra?
Wow! Wanna try it when playing game with family
And the nordic style also fits the house
Well it a great projector for gaming.
Thanks for the video image quality looks amazing!!!!!
Glad you like it!
What do you mean settings are miss, care to explain a bit more Chris?
I mean that there are no settings to tweak like contrast, flip image, brightness etc All of that stuff.
@@Techtablets This is Proof that this Projector is a way over priced scam.
Do you know if updates will add Netflix at least?
It's possible they could add that as an application.
Buenas noches una pregunta este proyector esta al nivel del xgimi horizon ultra en calidad de imagen y en negros profundos? espero respuesta saludos
Image looked fantastic quality projector.
It is! Great image and brightness.
Would be nice to have a head to head comparison between this model and the L500 one.
No HDMI ARC support, no optical audio or ATV why?

Why is it swollen on the side🤔
Design choice for the speakers I think and cooling.
did you measure the peak lumens??? How much pls?
2000+

I sent it back to them as it was a loan unit, so unfortunately I cannot test that now. But if that's users are sayin then it must be happening.

TechTablets, Thanks Much !.......=
Thanks for watching!
What about Formovie X5 ? It’s recommended screen size 60" - 1000" ! If so , what's the quality of 1000" sizei mage ?
Thanks.
1000" it wouldn't look that good at all. Around 100-150 is normally the sweet spot. 1000" It would look a bit blurred and not so bright.
Any tripod you can recommend?
Any really that have very wide sturdy bases. Mine I used isn't the greatest. Too easy to know over.
@Techtablets yea, contemplating on either getting a tripod ceiling mounting my projector..decisions decisions
Can you ceiling mount it?
You can but right now I saw no settings to flip the image for ceiling mounted units. Listing in the cons some settings seem to be missing. But the L500 model has it so I assume it's coming with new firmware.
will this run 4k120 on my ps5?
4k60 or 1080p120hz.

Its too much for this brand and lacking Android TV support

No HDMI 2.1 No laser 😬 leeds transfers heat a lot and the plastic frame gives a sharpness unstability all the time
for the led projector 1600$ 👎🤑
Depends on what you're after. Missing HDMI 2.1 I don't see as a biggie as it can only do 4k60 max anyway. But yes laser and cheaper would be great.
