Best place to sit to clean the windshield is either in the middle or passenger seat. Driver's seat is frustrating.
A tip for opening seals on bottles, jab the seal on the inner edge and peel in a counter-clockwise motion. It's a good way to avoid the seal particulates going back into the bottles and remove most of the seal in the process. I use this method in the pharmacy where I work for reconstituting meds for people.

pwrshots and with good reason. The foam of sprayaway allows us to find unseen contaminants when prepping the glass like the oil fron fingerprints. as well as clean the bonding surfaces without leaving Residue. Many anti streaking glass cleaners add a self leveling petroleum based solvent that leaves an invisible film behind. This film can prevent the urethane from properly bonding to the glass resulting leaks and worst case the glass not staying attached in a crash. We use sprayaway and a few other very similar cleaners for it’s simplicity, effectiveness and cost.

@3:20 At least you showed how the cloth is put on the cleaning tool and a link to where to buy. It looks like it's held on by outer elastic ring, but why didn't show spraying the cleaner on and how much spray ...........
I been trying now for three weeks trying to clean my windshield inside and out with this Invisible Glass cleaner brand, 1st the pre-soaked wipes, still a haze, then the spray with paper towels, still a streaky haze, so I guess the next step is this tool with micro fiber cloth. I'd never thought that cleaning a windshield would be so complicated, and now that I'm getting up in years a clean windshield is very important......

Hi Brian, a couple of questions:
    1. On the interior window clean, it looks like you sprayed the window first, and then cleaned it. Isn't it better to spray the pad and then apply it?
    2. On the section where you used the football shaped tool, did you spray it with ScotchGard? if yes, why?
    Thanks!

I like the looks from the shape of this tool. But I don't going to be useing any kind of the washer fluid with water repellent ability in them again. It's been messing up both the cleaning ability from it in the longrun and leaves an oily grime film that don't even CeriGlass where able to be break down as it just keept streaking with glass cleaner and the the Tac System Oil Zero panel prep wipe product. A light polishing with Scholl S20 Black SS and Tac System Oil Zero did at last desolved it to be able to wipe it off. This also gets on the paint and dries there which looks awefull. Now can be that it takes me a little longer in between the washes and deep cleaning the glass. It's the Angelwax Clarity I have used as the washer fluid with water repellent ability in it. And it's still residue from it coming out from the washer fluid tank after 3 thoroughly emptied tanks. So it's makeing a mess for me in the tank too. Have heard a lot of others with the Rain-X washer fluid with water repellent ability in it that also gets a mess. So for me personally from now on it's getting this out of the washer fluid tank and then a thoroughly prep and glass sealant or coating on the glass. Then use a washer fluid that just cleans and nothing more.
Inside of the windows it's a simualar to the first version but cheaper looking and loop nap mf bonnets only. Can be useing another glass mf towel wraped around the tool when buffing the residue off or needs some extra cleaning ability from it. Thinking about getting velcro and make like my own pads with both no nap glass mf towels for most effective cleaning ability from it and WW glass mf towels for wipe up any residue left by the glass cleaner. A little work and cutting in great glass mf towels but think it could work great.
Sonax Glass Cleaner for inside windows with nothing but cleaning. Scholl ICE Glass Cleaner if I want a little anti-fog ability on the inside of the glass and works great with water repellent ability from it on the outside of the glass. It works also like a water spot remover on the paint and the glass too so a versitale product.
Angelwax Vision glass cleaner on the outside of the windows only as the smell is bad from it. But man it's still the best glass cleaner I have used on very neglected and road film heavy windows. Or Sonax Glass Cleaner or Scholl ICE on the outside if not extremly dirty and save on the Vision glass cleaner until it's really bad LOL.
Have not seen this glass cleaning tool in Sweden. The Pro version looks awesome to use. A lot bigger cleaning surface on it vs others I've seen here.

For me I use what is nearest to me at the time. I have a spray bottle of water and couple drops of dawn soap or I will use Adams original waterless wash for both inside and outside. I spray either lightly on a MF towel and they are effective. My windows HAVE to be clean. I’m so bad that I carry MF towels and spray in my car so I can clean them anytime needed.

The back window in my mustang is the worst to clean.

I've had good success with all of the Stoner products...Windex on windows is junk, in my opinion!

isn't there benefit to letting the cleaner sit on the glass for a minute to breakdown any oils or other contaminents? I see you spray the cleaner on and then immediately remove it.

On heavily soiled windows...that is recommended.

Been using invisible glass for years. best glass cleaner by far. spray away is to oily and leaves more residue and glares.
