I dont own a Honda, and came across this video. This is the best video I have ever watched about wheel bearings and this was very entertaining! Keep up the great videos! Great work!!!!
I just did a bearing replacement on my son-in-law's Toyota Matrix today, and you really summed up very well all the steps - and I love the camera angles, audio, editing (the pacing is fantastic), and definitely the cuss words, as they are very necessary during this job. This is the first video of yours I have watched, and subscribed immediately after watching. Thanks very much!
Man you are the best male blogger I know. Honestly!!! No 4hour intros or none of that BS. Sweet, short and to the point. PROPS DUDE!!! Keep them videos coming PS. I’m learning a TON
I don't know why I haven't subscribed a long time ago. I did a timing belt on a car I bought for body parts because of this guy... swamped all the good body parts out put a $20 timing belt and sold it for more than what I paid for it.
It’s hard to find a awesome and honest mechanic these days. I wish you live nearby to me. Hopefully i can learn alot from your channel. Thanks for posting your how to videos. God bless you and your family.
Angel, my son is a product of UTI also. He is currently a master tech at Apple Ford. I am a backyard mechanic and do only our cars. It's my passion since I was 12 years old. Mind you, tools are not cheap!
Bruh! This is one of the most awesome and complete videos I’ve seen. Great edit to avoid the boring/hard/Time-consuming parts. Appreciate you displaying all the right tools and ideas. Very engaging. Mahalo 🤙🏼
Great video.......one quick question. What is the purpose of the Allen wrench clearance? I thought when you press in the bearing and spindle, it bottoms out and that is the pre set clearance?
I hate doing this job on my TSX. I replaced both bearings four years ago and it was taxing physically and requires perseverance and patience. I'm watching this because Ill have to do it again, haha. Thanks for the video.
Nice vid. As a mechanic, I've just given the knuckle a good solid few hits beside the joint with the hammer to release the tie rod/ball joint from the knuckle. The shock of the hit releases the joints as the tapper wants to drive out; when tightened the tapper actually expands the knuckle ever so little and that "shock" will allow the knuckle to spit out the joint . Never used a joint tool in 20 years of wrenching and never had any issues with messing up a knuckle.
There is a handy hub puller that also installs the bearing for those folks who do not have access to press and bearing splitter. We purchased our from summit racing equipment catalog for under $100.00. Good quality item and saved hundreds of dollars on hub bearing replace on our Honda fit. Yes, we also had to cut the inner race off of hub with a cut off saw. It's just how it is. We love our tool from summit.
This video was perfect. Not only was it a great walk-through on how to repair my Honda Ody (with the same bad bearing), but it was also a great way to see what tools to rent. The local Autozone had almost everything I needed to get this done. Plus I love how excited you got with every completed step. "Yes!" I watched it three times. The editing is great, and not as slow as so many other repair videos. Nice Job. Keep up the great work.
Bad bearings on husbands Honda Civic...this video helped us understand what's involved with the fix from beginning to the end. Excellent demonstration.
Very detailed video and you show the problems a person can run into doing these jobs.....just proves you don't have to talk to explain things....thanks.
Fix it Angel thanks for all your videos , i recently changed the radiator on my mom's odessy van thanks to you it was very helpful i wouldn't have done it without your help thank you brother and God bless keep up the Fantastic work!!
You do very good work I watch your videos and I miss the good old days of wrenching I am a retired as certified master tech happy wrenching it pays the bills alhoy
Last summer I changed all four of my Toyota bearings without the proper tool and took us ages and man power to get to them. Lesson learn but it would of been easier if I had seen your video before. 😊
Just goes to show you that you don’t need high end/specialized equipment to do a job right but the knowledge, patience and savegery to use tools properly will result In quality work! 🤙
Just discovered your channel today and watched several videos. You're doing a great job...the filming and onscreen script is "spot on." Nice to see the children helping dad. Now subscribed as your videos are very interesting.
So complicated to remove the wheel bearing I used a hammer and a socket. But congrats on having every tool needed to do the job. Love these video keep at it
We are amazed of your expertise on any major auto repaired, so detailed makes me appreciate the honest hard work which is very rare to find now days auto shop, wishing you was nearby here in Tucson Arizona to rescue our car problems ,once again God bless for your honesty and hard work...peace out!!!!✌🏾
Thanks you, you saved me a lot of money. I have the harbor freight press and I was going to buy more tools but with the piece of wood and bearing splitter helped me. Thanks for making this videos !
Solid Vlogs CHELU ! I like the way you dont talk so much and just make it happen. cuss words are solid, same shit i do when working on cars. try to use some slang words like , diablo, kaksaka, umbre lanya hao or busta umbe.
I have always wanted to know how to change wheel bearing,i have learned a lot from you guys, thanks a lot,but those tools you are using, they are awesome, peace.!!!!!!
I like the way you show everybody how to fix any cars. Thank you and god bless you and your family. We don’t want you to enger you and your kits eyes please always wear safety glasses.
You make very good video shots. I like that you record the whole process and do not omit things. That way I can learn better than what you do. Greetings.
Air hammer with a blunt punch will bust them loose every time. Put a pry bar on anything with a taper and hit it with that air hammer big Tim saver . My hats off to you man I’ve been there and that hard ass concrete getting it done like a man. It’s crazy people that don’t turn wrench’s will never know what it takes to think outside the box and we never need tech support cause you are tech support lol.

I love your videos very informative. I have to do this for a 2016 Honda CRV. Should be a similar process. The only thing I do different when pressing in new bearings, as I put them in the freezer overnight it makes them slide in so much easier. And old-timer showed me that years ago. Again thanks for the video !!!!
Thanks for the video, very helpful. What are the torque specs on the camber bolts which attach the steering knuckle to the strut when reassembling (4:45-4:47 on the vid).

UTI ? Haha I went there too ! A/C & refrigeration ! Great school !! Now that I know you went there, that makes me feel even more confident in your knowledge and work ! Great video and great Dad too ! Cheers bro !!
at 5.33 on the lower ball joint after loosening the nut I usually just put a jack under it jack it up till the gap widens between the lower control arm and the spindle then insert a chisel in the now wider gap (can use anything appropriate),then lower the jack and it pops free...try it have to do it before you do the upper though
Great video. Gave me the courage to tackle this job. Unfortunately, my Spindle was stuck in the hub assembly/knuckle. (Had to get it air hammered out). Ended up buying a new CV Axle from my local Big Name Auto Parts Store. Got my new bearing pressed in by a local mechanic, I installed my new CV Axle, and assembled everything. However, when I torqued down my spindle nut, the rotor/hub assembly pushed in towards the knuckle and now the back of my rotor hits my caliper bracket. Do you think this could be because of the CV Axle not being OE? I’ve tried to different Axles from two different stores, with the same results...at my wits end.
Just finished one of these on an '04 Pilot. I've done many at the Honda dealer over the years, but when I finished this one, the damn noise was still there! I decided to move the tires around, but that was no help. Still noise on the left front. I got the National bearing from Autozone and it seems to me that I've heard some stories about when bearings sit on the shelf for years and years, they tend to go bad, but I sure don't want to do this a second time, on the floor in my garage, only to have that noise still be there! I wish I had one of those kits that pick up noise and sends it to your headphones, Maybe it's coming from somewhere else and just sounds like the left front. Maybe all of the Nokian tires are singing? I'm about ready to give up!
Watch and you will learn and the tools he is using it , of coarse he has everything . How the procedure will done, from the beginning up to the end . God bless all your family !

Awesome job, I need to get a shop press, for my next bearing job.
Great video thanks. This job is all about having the right tools. Thanks again from Canada.
I have a new respect for wheel bearing replacement. Never knew it was some complex and have so many moving parts.
Great video! I wish every wheel bearing could just be an assembly. I hate press wheel bearings, so much work for such a small part.
Done about 10 press in wheel bearings and 8 assembly. Much rather do the assembly style. Have to do 2 assembly this week. 2012 caravan.
Hey fixitangel love your vids. No bs. I love the grunting and swear words. Plus the torque ratings help the viewers.

Hi friend, I have a problem with my car, it's a 2005 Honda Civic sedan.
I have already changed all the wheel bearings.
But I still hear a buzz when the car runs.

Hi brother, did you check your tires? your tire tread could make the buzz noise.
