- For the final video of the weekly long trip in Mammoth, Ford, and Adam return to the Owens to conclude the trip. They end up catching over twenty fish including a brown trout and over 16 other hookups that end in trout popping off. Thanks for the video. I love the Eastern Sierras especially the Owens River. I grew up fishing that river. I will be heading up there after Labor Day. What were you using?
The Eastern Sierras are truly spectacular! We used brown power worms on a 1/16oz mini jig head.
Whenever we asked my Uncle that question he'd say...."years of experience". Lol. he was always secretive on his bait!
Are you using the 3 inch mice power baits? I don’t see them in brown color

Upper Owens , straight up the road from the little green church on 395 . Common knowledge or I wouldn't have said anything. But like @calfishing said , the regs. change from spot to spot , I got tagged 500.00 for fishing on the wrong side of "The Monument" .

Yes, you can in this area. But if you wander past the different zones the restrictions will change. Always check www.monocounty.org/things-to-do/fishing/fishing-rules-regulations/ before fishing!
Dude, C'mon man can you give us a little clue about how you have your Power worms set-up? Are they hooked up to a jig head or something else? Why do yo think we are watching?? We want help for when we go fishing in the Owens River. hope you can provide a little more help in your future vids.
Yes, the brown mice tail power worms are rigged up to a 1/16oz mini jig head with regular 4lb mono. We'll give more info on our following videos. Thanks for the comment.
