thank god I came to this video because I have been carrying phone with headphone jack output. Carrying it in my front pocket then to my back pocket. I am not a avid music listener but I don't want to purchase other pair of wired earbuds because of the headphone jack breaking constantly. Making a call or being active on bike ride. Its worth having (functionality & versatility) whenever and where ever I go.
additional use: In a automotive applications, a micro-usb cable to a USB cigarette lighter charger to 12v power and ground for powering and charging the thing. And a 3.5mm to RCA adapter to output the signal, you can plug that straight into your aftermarket amplifier and delete the whole head unit. smartphone to amp by bluetooth. A bluetooth amp. in a house, add bluetooth to your vintage stereo by installing it inside and solder the signal outputs to the correct input ports. on the INSIDE.
I've had a couple of these for I don't know how many years. I haven't used them for a long time, and now that I've trying to use one again, it doesn't seem to be holding a charge. It also seems squirrely about connecting and staying connected. I'm trying to use it with a Pixal 3a, so maybe there's a difference in BT standards? I really don't want to buy another one. It'd be nice if there was a way to replace the battery.
That’s a tough one. GPS isn’t great on either of them. I’d probably lean towards the Gear Sport just because of the bezel dial and the much broader selection of apps.
I bought 2 of them more than 5 years and now I still use it and it works so well to my surprise.
