Hey Chommang, not sure if you'll read this but I want to thank you a lot! I started following your face drawing practices about a week ago now during my school's spring break. I've previously dabbled into art here and there but could never get over the hump of doing it consistently. Being a little embarrassed of my current skill level I tried to keep it a secret from my family, but my dad found out... and said they were excellent! He also said he was proud of me, which doesn't happen very often!
Without these videos I don't think I would have known where to start with portraits. So, again, thanks for these practices. It's really inspired me to continue on with art as a hobby, and I hope you continue :)

Perfect timing! Drawing faces from this angle is often frustrating for me, especially the shape of the jaw underneath.

Thanks Chommang. I’ve learned to control my strokes sketching hair. I’ve tried to do the strokes top to bottom and it looks bad (trying to do too much and not being careful)

I use H to draw lightly. Just for that reason :) And I don't use the clay eraser, because I haven't used it much.😅
