What do you like most about Christopher Kimball?
I like the fact that Kimball has persevered in his mission of "teaching Americans how to cook." I have benefitted greatly from what this man has put out there for people to access and improve there cookery. God bless and keep Chris Kimball!!!
One thing I've learned, after watching his shows, reading his magazines, and cooking along, is that he always does everything the absolute hard way. No shortcuts, no substitutions, no compromises, with this guy. And this seems to reflect in his business and personal dealings, as well. It may be that he's just too hard to get along with, in the long term.
His original, exceptional taste and integrity were what made the show a trailblazing success. The two other ladies were great supporting characters but Kimbell was the star creating a whole industry. The young greedy upstart CEO should’ve paid him what he was worth. You can’t replace talent like his.
The way he says “mm”
So he got divorced and had a business dispute. Wow, how tragic. I bet only 50 or 60% of America knows this pain.
Wasn't all that tragic.
That was a tear jerker.
Christopher is the best. His podcast is one of the best. Love the guy!

I liked America's Test Kitchen when he was on it but MILK Street did not do anything for me. I still watch the more recent ATK with the 2 ladies on it.

Chris did good for the world. They screwed him over. The company too over his creation. His deadbeat wife latched on for the ride. This is a tragic story.

I always liked him. Sorry for all his troubles. I have watched the cooking shows without him, and as much as I like them, I like them much more with him there. I thought it was a good thing when the women took over (sorry I can’t remember their names), but it didn’t take long to really miss his presence.
How many people has he killed?

Tragic?
Funny, but his story reminds me a lot of dancer Michael Flatley. You have 2 tremendously talented men who paved the way in industries that were more female oriented and made it "cool" for men. Their talent was then hijacked and they were vilified, then they suffered personal loss,. America's Test Kitchen was the bomb when Christopher Kimball was there. Now, I just yawn and head over to the Food Network.
He annoys me to no end...
So just life then ? Married 3 times , evidently not the brightest. Not even remotely close to Anthony Bourdain
