Interesting fun fact. I hear that on one tour he left his glasses on the plane and had to go on with prescription sunglasses. Went over so well he kept them for good. 😆
Before we got a television, we always gathered around the radio and record player to listen to music. Mom was a big Elvis fan so those were the majority of the records she had but she also had one Roy Orbison album and I fell in love with his voice. So nice to see this generation appreciating some of the older vocalists. Thank you for this reaction.
If you have a chance, you might listen to some of his songs from 'A Black and White Night'. He still performs his hit songs, but it was at a later time in his life, making the emotion of the songs come from the perspective of someone who had lived, seen, and experienced what he was singing. He also had an all-star band performing with him, it was amazing to see.
It would be better if you didn't. I''m so tired of this - Roy Orbison was who he was, he was one of the greatest ever. So please, if you're going to do his songs, do them ONLY when it's him. Nothing is more annoying than having to put up with all those other people, when all I want to hear is Roy.
This is from the concert Black and White Nights, worth watching. KD Lang is one of the backup singers. I saw Roy Orbison live, twice, on my list of best concerts I've seen.
Sorry but this was recorded in England in 1965.with English backing group.it does say in video that it's from monument records, but in black and white nights the music rights belong to Virgin records, but you right black and white nights with k.d language, is a special concert
Did you see the guy yawn during he's performance 😦, roy is one of my favourite singers and he's voice just got better with age but sadly we was robbed of that great singer and songwriter in late 88, only 52 😭
Hey! If you ever want to hear some really beautiful music, I highly recommend checking out Voces8 and reacting to some of their videos. They're absolutely incredible. I recommend Sleep, A Boy and a Girl, Ave Maria, and Let My Love Be Heard. If you want to hear something less classical, they've recorded Maria from West Side Story and Send in the Clowns by Sondheim. They're amazing and I highly highly recommend!!
I love Roy Orbison so much. Not many people my age know about him and it’s so unfortunate because his voice is pure gold.
I am a major fan
It's gold, it's velvet; it's languid and a caress. It's a privilege to hear.
This was a magical night for music with so much talent on the stage. By the way you really look like Rory McElroy.
The most beautiful lyrics to the most tragic of songs, the king of heartbreak.
I have fond memories of Roy Orbison and hearing him in the 60’s when my mom would play his music. I’d wake up to that voice.
I have loved this song all my life
Interesting fun fact. I hear that on one tour he left his glasses on the plane and had to go on with prescription sunglasses. Went over so well he kept them for good. 😆
no one sings Pretty Woman like Roy that growl at the end is pure Roy Orbinson
You should check out Gene Pitney !
He was also happy to show his softer, emotional side, & very very successfully too!
My favorite song by Roy is Running Scared. An entire love story told in 180 seconds.
Yes, a fantastic song, I was just listening to it. Roy is the best!😍
Watch, You Got IT, it's filmed of him performing the song in Antwerp, Belgium. He died 17 days later, Roy Orbison was 52.

Roy was Elvis Presley's idol. For real.
and vise versa , Roy loved Elvis .

Mystery Girl is awesome as well . His last album .
A Black And White Night is really him. One of his last recorded concerts. You should be able to watch it on UA-cam.
@@flomurdock Black and White Night is probably the best you'll ever see Roy Orbison!! It's him and only him at his best!!
Love Roy and liked your reaction. I'd suggest In Dreams from Roy, it really shows just how good a singer/song writer he was.
All of the Beatles. Said Roy Orbison was there all time favourite male vocalist.
Try Roy singing She’s A Mystery to me. It’s a song by Bono and really sees Roy at his best. It is extraordinary. Great lyrics as well.
React to Walk On by Roy Orbison his most powerful and one of his most emotional of his songs 👍
Crawling Back 😢
Rigjt on. But do his original version, not the rearranged one. This one has a young roy singing emotionally

Roy is a legend. And you are sooo cute.😋
Great reaction.
TODOS DIAS OUÇO ROY ORBSON PARABÉNS PELA POSTAGEM
When people told Elvis he was the best singer. He always said. Roy Orbinson. There he is.
Roy Orbison is the very best!!!!

Great song great singer
And you didn’t interrupt once! Thank you.
Please react to Roy Orbison singing
In Dreams
Crying
The song was released in1964 actually, but the concert was indeed in 1965
Every time I see your shelves I think you should do book reviews. ;)
Good review. This is a beautiful, but quite subdued, performance by the Big O.
Did you see the guy yawn during he's performance 😦, roy is one of my favourite singers and he's voice just got better with age but sadly we was robbed of that great singer and songwriter in late 88, only 52 😭
I sometimes wonder how the youn generation of today would react if a legend like Roy suddenly came back and did all over again.
Roy Orbison was kind of in a class by himself... Elvis, The Beatles, everyone of his era looked up to him. He's worth your time to research a little.
You need to watch Rachelle Ferrell sing: "I can explain" the live from Montreaux version!
