i no that feeling. a good way to help with the jump is to stack up matts very high so your hip is resting on the top and your hands are on the floor and you work on jumping that way so you have the matts to keep your hips up and suppport you. I would also recommend trying to jump from a handstand hold... the prep from standing is very scary and if fear is holding you back you will never progress and it sounds like your not able to atempt the jump beacuse the fear is to great. I was the same. but in my case i had to stop training the airflare and instead start trying the elbow airflare...exaclty the same method applys.

Yeah handstand is very important. Try to hold one for at least 20 seconds
