yes bro!! This t-maxx is properly tuned to be hitting the 2-speed ALL DAY LONG!! You just cannot kill this t-maxx. Its the nitro that started the 2-speed revolution worldwide!!
Me too bro! With sand the worst thing that can happen is a tiny pebble of SAND getting into the engine somehow and killing the compression! The paddle tires throw up a lot more sand than regular tires which contributes to raising the risk of engine damage, Luckily it survived!!

As I was watching this, I wondered how your T-Maxx would handle in this same running area but with rear wheel drive only? Awesome vid man ! I’ve always wanted to have a sandy place to run and try paddle tires. I didn’t expect them to drag it down so bad. I wonder if you ran just the paddles in the back and some standard style treads in the front? Maybe it won’t dig as hard and maybe create less drag on the truck? But you’d still have the benefit of 4wd to help slightly on takeoff as well as trying to turn while on the throttle. You should totally try it. I’m curious AF now lol.
LOL!! I should have used some Baywatch Music, that is a good idea right there! ahah . Yes, one the WET sand the paddles made it a little hard to steer because the horizontal paddle grooves were sliding directly into the sand while turning, kind of an interesting observation I made. Hey man, that’s a good observation the smoke was really obstructed by the insane sand throwing from these paddle tires, also, the engine ran a little hot because of the extra friction from the sand, normally I run on the relatively rich side, in this case the sand looked like it hit a lot of the exhaust.

Do you have any good tips for the one way bearings? Mine always seems to be having an issue hooking up trying to start
