You need the length to loop it into a knot. I make many prototypes before making the actual DIY. There is always a reason to why I do something a certain way.

I think it depends on your hair. I have straight hair so it isn't a problem at all for me. Maybe if you have curly hair it may be.

To me this is perfect as a bracelet, because I don't have to worry to much about size & measurement when making them.. Also wanted to mention that I tried it on my natural straight hair and had no problem.. The trick is to not twirl around the hair to many times.. Then I tried it on a curly wig that I have... Let me make this part quick so you guys get the message...DONT TRY IT IF YOUR HAIR IS SUPER,DUPPER,LOOPER CURLY...Cause your asking 4 it if you do especially with the charms attach..

I like these but they are a little bit frail for me. During my daily life these things would break or rip or snag on things. I'm a busy bee and I wish I could make these. Maybe I can make them for a friend. Thanks for sharing Anne

Great idea! But... I'm a major hair tie -breaker. I always get them nap, even in normal use. And I also lost them easily... I've started to believe that this apartment eats my hair ties or something :DD I think I need to buy more ties for this project.

When i have a hard time getting fabric to loop through a smaller hole, I usually use a bobby pin. First, just put the yarn through bobby pin and then just use the bp through the hole of the hardware!!! FYI TIP :) keep it up Ann!
