You are not going to fix a people problem with a gun solution. Jeremy Malone of Morrow the shooter in the Peachtree Center Food Court shooting has served time in prison and has 11 previous arrest cycles. So is this a gun problem or the criminal justice system not holding someone accountable for what they do? Answer is self evident. Malone's criminal history began in Henry County, where in 2007, deputies arrested and charged him with armed robbery.
@@irhutch007 I see. Crime ridden Atlanta has more restrictions. So you can strap it on your side in Alpharetta, Roswell, John's Creek or North Georgia, but not in downtown where nobody goes..
That's the plan behind it all. " Death from a thousand cuts ". Make bearing arms so cumbersome, inconvenient and legally risky that you encourage people to abandon their rights. They're doing it incrementally, a little at a time. Mental health can be ambiguous . A lot of people, especially modern liberals, throw that term around carelessly it seems at times, and can generally apply it to their political opponents- no surprise there. So , there's a risk for arbitrary application of these laws. Red flag laws are a dangerous threat to due process rights. Anyone who believes otherwise is not being honest, or is a shallow thinker. Many Trump voters seem to be unaware that he supports red flag laws. Fact remains, the more restrictions on non violent, decent moral people in regards to the very first human right, the right of self defense, the less moral authority police have to bear arms. History is very clear on this matter. It should not be open to this kind of debate. Free people should not beg those in power for mere scraps of supposed liberties.
You need a couple of new panelists. The common man or woman , who does not regurgitate the Two Party , Left/Right dogma, is not represented at all on this show.....
Great points from both of you. That/this level of engagement is why I love this show and the comments section. You guys are really politically inclined 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 #SQUARED UP LIFESTYLE
@@TavarusSqD-UP I'd especially like some discussion about the lack of, or slow prosecution of the suspected killer of 8 year old Secoria Turner and such issues as why, if there are so many deaths at the jail, and the jail is falling apart, then WHY is the Sheriff buying a two hundred thousand dollar custom van? Sends the wrong message. Why is Atlanta begging for federal money , when they can use the Airport revenue to fix the water system? It's because the corrupt leadership uses the airport as their own personal cash cow. I'm going to give Dickens time to address these issues, but let's stick with facts and have less of the back and forth fluff we see between Phil and Theron and others. I'm tired of the Uniparty ( dem/ repub ) nonsense. Appreciate your comment. Have a good week 👍
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME ON THE PANEL SOME CITY LEADERS OR PASTORS, REGULAR HOMEOWNER, COLLEGE STUDENT WITH A FEW ON THE PANEL

Unless a person is going to an event where guns are not welcome, what good is a gun locked in the car. Might as well leave it at home.
If there were not so many places in the city where you can't carry your gun people would not leave them in the car for someone to steal.

What good is UA-cam when shadow banning is so rampant? Does anyone see my other comment on guns ?

I brought a nonpartisan CEO bill for DeKalb and it did not move forward.
In what capacity did you "bring" it forward, as elected official or private citizen?

On the panel, they can add either journalists or other party insiders....as long as they discuss the issues.
