This was always the 'main theme' track that played whenever I booted up the original game discs/original game back in the late 90's. This was also the track that was played in the multiplayer lobby/staging room. This was/is in the 'original' game, can confirm 100% :)
I'm looking at your channel for Warzone 2100 information (thank for the uploads by the way!) and this is the second time you mention in the description a track that presumably wasn't used. I can surely tell you that you are wrong! On the PSX version this played in the menu. And the "Warzone End Credits" was the 3rd ambient music in the campaing 🙂 Still, even after more like 20 years, I love you work, it's very unique and memorable.
Thanks Doncui89, maybe it was on the Xbox version. I remember we ran out of space on one of them.... but then it was a long time ago. Supper happy you still enjoy the audio
If I remember correctly the FMV videos took up a lot of space on the disc. The PC version had to have two discs to hold them all, and on the PS1 version some were removed entirely.
first time... i was playing on Playstation 1 when i was in the military. Nuclear silence the best and the most depressive track. Thank you, Martin!
If I'm not mistaken, this is the track that plays in the background of the main menu on the current open-source PC version
Thats good news, I gave a whole bunch of audio to these guys to play with so very happy to see it going to good use
Dude this could just as well have been the ambient music in Half Life or something! Honestly this is so massively under the radar low-key incredible.
Or the first or second Fallout
WOW! Now that is high praise, thanks so much

Isn’t this what was used while waiting on the lobby for multiple player online?
Pretty sure it was.
