You having less than 5 thousand subscribers is nothing short of a CRIME. This is some of the best content on stylized art being put out. Thank you so much!!
This comment made my day! Thanks a lot mate! I actually started normally posting on UA-cam from like end of last September, 4-5months ago, and I'm not going to stop it! Felt in love making Tutorials :)
Been trying to find a video like this for SOO long, stumbled across your channel and love all of your art and all of your tutorials, thank you for all of them!
as a total begginer i really like to see how pro's model and how they think.. as we dont have developed the gut feeling :D. thank you for the tutorial :)
Ohhh Zug!! I was literally trying to find iso stylised pine for past 1 month or so, no chance. Yesterday I check your amazing channel out of pure affection again and here you go!!! THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU
THIS.. you just showed exactly the art style I love those threes in Wow and Lol are by far my goal to create, gonna try this for sure, Thank you so much
Hey! Thank you so much! Both softwares are amazing and used for different things. 3DCoat is for pure painting and have amazing brush engine, and Substance for more procedural texturing with nicely done sculpted model. If you go for World of Warcraft style that's gonna be 3DCoat, if you wanna Wayfinder that's Substance painter. But you can also mix those 2 softwares and get amazing results
This makes me realize i can make the stylized models I want with less geometry but i get swept up in little details when i try to model. I gotta plan better i guess.
Hey mate I had a question, with an asset like this would it have been better in hindsight to model closer to the end painted shape to maximise UV space or does it not matter so much with handpainted textures?

Last I checked there were basically no guides/tuts on stylized isometric trees and foliage, so you are very much filling a niche here 👍👍👍
That's really interesting... Than I gonna do more of that kind of videos with the handpainted/stylized Trees, Grass, and Plants :)
@@ZugZugArtcould definitely use a tutorial about how to stylize things like this.
Thanks for recording this and not speeding through it and I appreciate the clear talkover
Aww, thanks for so kind words! :)

What a gorgeous art style! And you explained your work flow so well. This was great thank you!
Wooah! Glad you liked! Your comment motivated me to start working on the next Tutorial right now! :)
Do you apply the calculated AO map? Or do you just use it as a reference and paint the shadows with solid colors?

Hey, mate! Thanks for kind words! I'm in love with Wow style, and working on some other one :p

Another wonderful video. Thanks buddy 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love it!! is it possible to do the masking thing in blender? Where you paint some parts black to make the branches
Hmm... I believe it's working pretty same in Blender and you can setup cutout materials in Blender too
very cool!
Hey! Thank you! :)
I can't believe it's taken me this long to find you! You have amazing content!
Hey! Thanks, man! Enjoy the tutorials! Much more coming soon! :)
awesome video thanks :)
Thanks for watching :)
Hi, I love your work ❤. Why do you use 3D coat and not Substance painter? Is it for some special reason or can the 2 software achieve the same thing?

Hey Romans. I just noticed that you rotate the mesh without clicking outside of the mesh? How do you do that?
Hey! Hold your Alt key, and you will be able to rotate like that :)
@@ZugZugArt ah silly me. Thought I tried that haha. Thank you
Love it ! dont like the alpha mask method.
Thanks! Yeah, there's many ways to make alpha mask :)

Hmm... Not sure what you mean by that. If you have some examples, feel free to post at our Discord
@@ZugZugArt I will do mate. Thanks for the response.
