Nice video, I learned over the years to buy breakfast food and eat that at home, eat out for lunch and dinner, however staying dry is incredibly difficult lots of mates having beers is far too tempting. Unfortunately Health insurance is required or your mates or family will be forced to help you if you end up in hospital, get health insurance ASAP. I budget for 60-90kTH per month.

Thai laundry if a good one leaves clothes smelling great,.Your right about the cost of living in uk v thailand, uk's bleeding us dry to exist not live, i cant wait to get back to TH and close the door on the uk permanently .cheers.

I go to Rantanakorn fresh wholesale market, on Thepprasit Road, the place is huge, even bigger than Makros, I go at least once a week, get all my fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and meat, it’s by far the cheapest imo! My monthly budget is on average 50,000baht/£1,143 a month! Including having a Thai girlfriend 😊. A lot of my time is playing sports like badminton, pickleball and beach paddle, great fun, good for social life and keeping fit!

@ water is charged by how much you use, the first month I used 2 units making it 80 baht plus 20 baht for condo charge, sorry I got my 2nd bill slightly wrong I used 3 unit’s of water 120 baht and 20 baht condo charge. I’ve already said don’t compare Thailand prices to UK prices, water is biased by how much you use. Sorry but you are to easily pleased and don’t query anything, as you have a Thai lady living with you she should know this and be helping you, why has she not clocked this, she is either with you or doesn’t really care, this is what you have to ask yourself. Just for reference I had a friend stay with me and the aircon didn’t work correctly in the bedroom next morning she spoke to the agent and told her, the same day someone came out and sorted it, no charge to me but big expense to the owner as the coil leaked and didn’t work, she was looking after me.
