Down here in Arizona those seats and console would have been easily $250. Prices here in AZ are just going insane which makes it hard to do a budget build. Those look awesome in your truck and thank you for giving the year, make and model.
What I love about your channel is you have a project and finish it all the way. Other car channels on here only show pieces or have multiple projects and never complete one. Keep up your dedication and focus!
This is a great idea. I just picked up a 1991 4 Runner and am building a parts / mod list. The seats reek of smoke and the springs are shot. I never considered a non-OEM seat replacement, but those ones look great. I also love the idea of replacing the center console.
Just what I needed to see regarding the seats, just replaced the heater core in my 97 tacoma 3 days ago, and had to pull everything out of the cab. Now I know which seats that will fit. Awesome job. Guy Speight

2006 jetta seats fit really good and are nice, low and go far back for tall people. im 6 foot 6 and fit great now lol... also have a great bucket shape to them. i rewound my toyota seat belt winders with the webbing from the same jetta so the vw buckles would work. looks factory and the buckle is attached to the seat, not flopping about lol.... the bracket is fairly simple to make too. the vw seat tracks are flat. the toyota pickup floor has about 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch difference from the inboard to outboard bolts. the bracket levels the seat back out....
i know a little late, but the parts you cut off the seat rails you could have drilled holes into the ridge in the floor board. helps to center the seats. but looks good. the seats look great and the center console matches perfect.

nice job my man.. i have a 94 toyota 4 wheel drive with an old bench seat.. you inspired me to get some nice used buckets for my old rig! thanks a bunch.
Looking good! Hey, I bought one of those Eastwood mini steel circular saw you told me about. Works like a charm! I was scared of the full size one I have and dropping it on my leg-s. I don't do a lot of car stuff anymore but I restored a JD 430 Diesel garden tractor last winter and just built a 60" box blade with scarifiers. Finished it last night and from a seated position in my wheel chair I could see everything and the saw was light, I wasn't scared of dropping it in my lap because it was easy to hold out to the side. So glad I saw that video and appreciate your lead! My next project is a front end loader for the tractor. That will all be cut with my evolution chop saw except the 3/16 plate for the bucket and that little saw will get it done! Thanks again! You helped me keep going and safer!
Love the seats and center console. Need to go find some for my truck now. Been worried about getting some that line up that nice. Too bad sr5 seats are so hard to come by, I love the map pockets

Just got some 06 TC seats and was wondering how you drilled the hole into the truck. (This is my first project truck so I don’t know exactly what I’m doing, very thankful for your channel). My 91 pickup is a single cab so I wonder if that makes a difference on how the seats will fit? I haven’t removed the bench yet to see how these new ones fit.
@@flat6fever680 well I got one of my answers, they don’t fit as well in the single cab as they did in the extended cab. They’re a little too long for it, still working on them and seeing if there’s a way I can get them to fit.
@@mellisalopez4903 Hey I just bought a set of front bucket seats from a 91 4 Runner for my 88 standard cab. The bench seat in mine is in great shape but so uncomfortable. I mainly want to be able to recline a little and the bench is near vertical. The seats arrived yesterday and are very compact so there should be a little room to recline even in standard cab. I'm 6' so will need to be fairly far back but I'll make it work. I hear the SR5 and 4 Runner seats bolt right in but I don't have holes in the carpet for the middle bolts so will need to figure that out. Good luck with yours!
Pretty good man! I've got WRX Subaru seats in my pickup, in fact 3 out of 4 bolt holes line up perfectly and you just modify the one mount (front inside)
I am contemplating swapping out my bucket seats for a bench (maybe a 60/40??? if I can find one). Currently, its kind of rough squeezing a 3rd or 4th large adult into the back seats and I thought the bench seat might be a more comfortable solution. What didn't you like about your bench seats? I kind of wish I had seen this sooner... and we could have swapped seats and console. Though, those other seats are probably 5x more comfortable with the lumbar support and other adjustments.
Nice build. Beautiful work on the center console brackets. Been thinking about getting some stiffer buckets for me Taco. Thanks for the info. Gr8 video!
I have an 05 tc and have wanted better seats for my 98 tacoma. snagged some clean 09 tc seats for $50 at the upull. looks like the inside bracket is perfect and the outside bracket will need holes front and back. thanks for the idea, the tC seats are comfy. can tell they are better than the taco seats just by their weight.
Curious on the verdict of the 4th bolt, did you need to through bolt or did everything line up after bending the front brackets? Awesome video the truck is looking good!
Outstanding working you're doing. I enjoy watching & learning from all of your videos. I have a question. I have a 1995 Toyota Pickup DX Model with the Extended Cab. And I've found a set of 50/50 Bucket Seat that came off of a 2004 Toyota 4Runner. Will those work with my truck? Thanks
I would have sent the seat on the back set of holes and made a little l-bracket to bolt in the position of the front mount with a welded bolt sticking vertical and bend the bracket up in flat and bolt it down and then you're able to game a couple inches backwards for legroom by using the Back original holes
Thanks for the video bud! Bought my '93 Hilux brand new and is still my DD. That's no surprise considering the reputation of the 22RE am I right?! This project inspired me to do the same. Thanks once again.
I have never heard of Pull and Save. Where I live in Canada, you go to an auto-wrecker and pay through the nose for parts that are all removed, cleaned-up and sold off of the shelf. The whole idea of walking in and taking the parts yourself, is an insurance nightmare here, so you can't. What a great idea that is, go to the wrecker with a toolbox!

Just $50 for all 3? Wow! For the steering try to secure a 91 or 92 Paseo Steering wheel. Those are thick and 3 spoke. If you can, get a 2nd gen 4runner instrument cluster that has 2 more gauges (oil & charging). Truck is looking good day by day!!! There is a separator inside the rear lens. Do you have it? You can buy OEM parts from partsouq.com.
Is the "pillar" or ridge across the floor where the mounting points of the seats touch, level left to right? Unlike the tacoma where one side is an inch higher? Installing same seats right now in my truck. Thanks for the vids!
