Wow...Irv's been dead 30 years....he was a legend. Preferred when they didn't pair him up with neophyte news personalities but no doubt they learned a lot from him.
My dad loved Irv Sharp and his jokes at the end of each show. Dad would always repeat them to us when he was getting us ready for school. LOL! Remember how he would play the organ and sing the morning song when they would come on the air? As a kid I could always tell what time it was (6:30 am) when I would hear Irv sing, "It's mornin" Good memories!
I miss those days. I wish they kept all those tapes and would play them every morning again. I long for those days to come back. People have sure changed in these times . We need to go back to the way it was,
I turn 47 years old this week in August, and I grew up watching him. Times were just so much better those days.

The grandfather of a friend of mine owned a service station in Roanoke, and he said that Irv Sharp was a total butt-hole.

My guess most if not all of them are archived.
@@smallthings6590 Iapes were expensive and they recorded over their shows Sadly 90 percent are lost forever.
