Andi Deris Is one of the most underrated singers. When Rob Halford came back to Judas Priest, Tim Owens was fired; When Bruce Dickinson came back to Iron Maiden, Blaze Bayley was fired; But When Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske came back to Helloween, Andi Deris WAS NOT FIRED and nos se have a great Helloween "Pumpkins United Era". 2 1/2 hours and even 3 hours of an outstanding concert makes Helloween one of the best metal concerts today. Did you watched Wacken 2018 with Pumpkins United? It's absolutely amazing!!
Great reaction guys! I'm 14 and this was the hardest song I've ever played on the drums! So much harder than Dragonforce TTFAF! It took me so much boring double bass endurance pracitce like The Rev when he was young. Ingo is a LEGEND, Uli was great and Dani is an absolute monster behind the kit. Helloween RULES! Love them!🤘🤘🤘
Helloween fucking rules ! Best Power Metal band ever !! This song is for Kiske sing I know, But Deris made an amazing job. Please listen to Helloween - Where The Rain Grows in 94. Amazing performance and song too
Best Helloween song of all time hands down. But even better Micheal Kiske on vocals. I'm so happy to have a change to see Halloween united live twice at upcoming summer.
I remenber that when i was Antonio´s age, i had a t-Shirt from Helloween - Live in the UK, and everytime that i wear that shirt in English classes, the teacher always told me "you are the one who`s wearing a shirt with a spealling mistake ". HELL YEAH !! React to In Mourning !!
The great, old, speed metal! remember when this album was released. I was 16 years old and I was in the the old hockey stadium in Stockholm, Sweden, when Helloween opened up for Iron Maiden in 1988 with this album, Keeper 2. Good old days huh!? Yeah baby, greatest time ever!
In my opinion this is the best version of Eagle Fly Free there is, this live dvd is my favorite out of all live dvd's. The King For A 1000 Years is absolutely amazing from this dvd, if you want to watch something that wasn't recorded in Brazil i believe they recorded Occasion Avenue in Kawasaki and Halloween in Sofia(?) not sure.
@@elirios64 no, this version ' second chorus is incredible. Have you checked the version with Matos (Shaman)? Also good. But yeah, the studio version is a masterpiece.
I bought this DVD in one small pop music shop and the salesman even didn’t know how this disk arrive to him!!! Also I found there a “Stockholm knockout live” of CoB!
Power, King Of A 1000 Years, A Tale That Wasn't Right (it's a baland) and the medley of the 3 Keepers are also great from this DVD. I suggest also some from their early years stuff like Victim Of Fate (with Kiske version), How Many Tears and Ride The Sky. They're a mix of Speed - Thrash -Power Metal blow minding songs.
Nice performance of an epic song. Still prefer the studio version (again) because the original singer just has a god-like voice. You have to see them on the United Tour, 09/12 in Montreal, that's as close as it gets ;)
Lmao!!! Everyday one reaction video (at least) but yesterday so many bands I listen to released albums so heard them all, made some notes and got up early to record some reviews. Tomorrow we are only doing 1 video...need a break yesterday 4 today 4
South America follow and love a Heavy Metal!!!! Sorry guys... but that´s real!!! I´m a Sao Paulo citizen!!! I´m proud to be a citizen of Brazil because the bands needs us!!!
It's too bad you didn't try to catch the Montreal show, I saw them in Worcester in Sept 2018 and they were nothing short of amazing! If you go to Vimeo and enter Pumpkins United Worcester MA you will find some of my videos shot from the front row. Such energy and chemistry!
@@APREACTS I hear you. They should be releasing a new Pumpkins United album next year and I'm sure there will be a tour, hopefully you can catch them then, they were SO good! Here's a taste! vimeo.com/290046653
Andrew M As he said, two keeper albums are good start. There are 3 singers of Helloween: 1) Kai Hansen (the founding member) 2) Michael Kiske (Great singer but not that great frontman) 3) Andi Deris (current) Kai Hansen was only on "Walls Of Jericho" , Kiske was on Keeper part 1 and 2 albums,"Pink Bubbles Go Ape" and "Chameleon",and Andi Deris was on the rest of discography.
@@DaFox78 With kiske they headlined it, without him they didn't. Deris is a great singer but Kiskes footsteps were too big for him. I think the voices of the 2 work together just great and it should stay that way.
@@DaFox78 I don't think Kiske hates Metal. I think more he had to deal with some private issues when he left the band. We all know, what people say in the press doesn't always tell the facts. I don't think he wouldn't have joined the band again if he would hate Metal. I'm sure the constellation as it is now with Deris, Kiske and Hansen singing is absolutely awesome. Just look what a great song Skyfall is with all 3 of them. Can't wait for june... .
Check out everything from this DVD, it is an AMAZING DVD. Also, I recommend everything else they have recorded. This band has an interesting history, if you don't know it. Basically three eras, that all came together in Pumpkins United, they've been around since 1984 (I believe) and I can count the number of bad songs on one hand, with fingers to spare. Check out all three eras, my personal favorite from the Kai Hansen Era is Phantoms of Death and How Many Tears, my favorite from the Kiske era is Eagle Fly Free and I Want Out, and my favorite from the Deris era are The Saints and Midnight Sun, though you can find SO much more. Even give Pink Bubbles Go Ape and Chameleon a listen, it is a huge departure from the Keepers stuff, but there are some great songs there too.
Great song but you should really listen to the version when Michael Kiske sings it. He did it on the record and he sings it waaaay better. Just my opinion.
This singer doesn't do justice to the material with Michael Kiske on vocals, but there are really no great live versions available with him, except maybe Cologne 1992.
first of all, you mean "TIME* of the oath"? second of all, did....I say they weren't? (although to be completely fair, I do think the Kiske era was better ^^" but I don't think those two were bad either)
Hi guys. Please make a response to the Halloween song of the Helloween band. It's like 13 minutes of incredible music. But it's better to listen to the studio recording. Or watch the 1987 concert video. On UA-cam it will be called "Michael Kiske - Halloween (Live 1987)". I think it's better to check out the song, which is performed by the original lineup, and not the composition from "live on 3 continents".
Andy is good, loved him in Pink Cream '69. But if u compare this to LIVE IN THE UK or the Cologne show, which is also on UA-cam, u just see that Mk. ii is the real thing. But have u allready done Pink Cream '69? I'll suggest Keep ur eyes on the twisted.
Can u guys please do a Riot V(formerly known as Riot) songs reaction? It seems that there are very few people did a reaction on this wonderful band. Andrew M You should listen to them a lot more. The only album by Helloween that's bad is Chameleon, the rest of their discography is fantastic

1. Keeper of the seven Keys Part 1 (1987) and 2 (1988) (Vocals: Kiske)
2. Walls of Jericho (1985) (Vocals: Hansen)
