About the only 2020 gen denali model I ever love. Even though I'm a Ford and Ram guy I still love denali duallies. They look like yachts for some reason. Yacht vibes.
It's funny when the only complaint about a hauling truck, is that the leather isn't soft enough... and the dash isn't lux enough makes the truck 'just ok', or 'could be better'. Excellent review by the way!
Yea. If you need this type of truck, thise shouldn't be complaints.💪😄
Can’t wait for the new interior like the Yukon.
Great video Ben the GMC Sierra looks good. Looking forward to the NSX video
Thats a nice rig! The only thing thats really letting it down is the interior. Exterior wise in the HD segment, the Sierra looks the best! The 1500 version aren't as good though. Can't wait for the updated refresh!
Great video I’m sold. GOD BLESS BROTHER
I love GM trucks, the interior I agree need some more upgraded material and bigger navigation screen, like the ram would be amazing. But I love it, exterior is great. I would add powered steeps and a small lift kit and rims maybe. Just my opinion.
I enjoy the stiffer seats and leather that is more durable.
The whole point of saying stiff seats is to have a clickbait
If the seats are too comfortable you're going to fall asleep . You need to feel in touch with the road. It's a very serious thing you're towing quite often.
I like it crazy how much they can tow
I hate that center stack and interior but I do love the exterior
i have a 2020 high country 3500HD dually and shes a beast
The new style of the GMC trucks are so flashy :)
Dual rear tires the best configuration on new pickups
GM - best HD quality ride, quietest cab, all wheel drive select, Duramax Allison branded transmission. Best in class truck bar none!
I love my truck and yes it’s fast for a big truck. I had some issues w/ the AC that seams to be fixed now. What I hate is SOB has a short turn radius other than that she a sexy beast.
Nice Truck!
Who cares if it’s not luxury like a Ram.
At least it’s capable of hauling loads which is a trucks main purpose.
Especially since when things malfunction on the ram is seems to be considered "normal" and then other things that are like well ya not good are legitimately "Normal" lol
I'm a Sierra dually man haven't moved up to the Denali yet
This is one beautiful looking truck
Ben - A couple of points: Alison is the transmission maker (think zf and getrag)
i wish they took the ford approach with the pano sunroof and massage seats and heated and cooled seats in the front a rear and self driving features
WHAT IS THE BEST LIF KIT FOR DENALI 3500?
Do the HD trucks have the Elevation trim? That would be badass for the HD models
This truck is so beautiful truck GMC has built a cool truck
If GM “fixed” the things that you want them to fix I might as well look at Ford or ram.
That's one towing truck Ben im begging you please do a gmc dually vs ford dually vs ram dually plz
I’ll see what I can figure out
The material is suited for durability
Now this is a great looking truck! I agree about the interior, it’s dated compared to Ram and Ford. Glad it’s getting an all-new interior and Super Cruise for 2022/2023. Great review Ben!
Only the 1500 for 22 is getting the interior upgrade I forget exactly what the hd is getting rearranging something but it's stupid I was going to get a diesel but might wait now
And they're getting rid of the steering column shifter and adding buttons which is gay
@@christianmarten4938 I know, the HD’s will get the interior in 2023, that’s why I said 2022/2023.
Hey Ben which 3500 would you buy since you reviewed lots of them?
Depends on what I wanted out of the truck
With some hot cocoa don't worry about spilling it on the seat
GMC hit this one outta the park. Its a hot truck .
That's a nice truck
All right answers
Nice truck
That already got some surface rust😭
Gear ratio would be nice to know; 4:10 for example.
Which is faster? The ford ram or this one? One ton dually
Probably ford, gmc, ram
Now that’s a truck!!!😳 Nooooo I won’t switch from the KING OF TRUCKS RAM!!! 😝👍🎉🎉🎉
Hey that's how you start WW3 ! lol
you mean ford is the king...
@@skyshade9106 true Ford and Chevy both outsold em
Sorry I misread your comment as KING OF TRASH RAM... Probably just my minds autocorrect.
Worst brand of the 3
I have a 2021 model and the front driver seat is very uncomfortable, the lane assist module in the seat sticks out way to much and uncomfortable after a few minutes of driving, let alone long road trips!
I disagree with your comment I have this same exact dually and the seat is comfortable both short and long trips
The F350/F450
Hey ben what is better zr2 or raptor
Depends on what off-roading you do
2022 rumors have updated interior (larger screen, autonomous drive maybe, etc) cannot wait.
Still behind ford and ram.
@@thomaschambers157 Really? New to HD truck scene. Doing research. Chevy Interior obviously behind. Looking for all around reliability and safety for RV family pulling.
@@user-gu7fm8gn2r GM in general has been behind for years. In all aspects. They just can’t cut it.
Not in the HD from everything I’ve heard.
@@Denali_Rebel Ford and Dodge are way ahead. In all aspects. Do your research.
You expect a soft saddle on a high quality horse
Dear
followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who
buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into
the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service,
the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a
malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help
will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep
your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.GM is a big bluff
It's not a passenger car making short jaunts it's the truck that makes all other trucks look up
2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD Heavy-Duty Big-Dually Denali!
I like it
I had 2018 . Loved it until.............about 75000 miles. Lot a problems with the DEF, INJECTORS, THEN THE ICING ON THE CAKE THE TURBO. NO MAS GMC FOR ME
Nice truck! Way too much chrome for my taste, but it is still a beautiful rig. The main things that keep me from loving it are the plasticky interior and the IFS. Those of us that tow heavy with 3500s fully understand why Ram and Ford will likely never switch from the solid axles.
I remember back in the day when those that tow heavy said that they would never buy a truck with an automatic transmission.....
@@Denali_Rebel true, but that was also because automatics back then were terrible, especially up and down grades. HDs also didn't tow 30k+.
@@hellkitty1014 understandable. I was just saying that times change. 5-10 years from now that could be all that’s available and if enough research is pumped into IFS trucks the switch may become far more compelling.
I have a question can you live in it? What make and model of vehicle do you drive?
Arby’s ( we have the meats ) at 8:25
Year?
You forgot to tell us the model year.
Nothing like hearing a Honda driver explain a 3500. Ridiculous 30k towing? That’s why we are here. We run this for money
To many xtras gear selection hardly visible poor exhaust break poor display in front hard to distinguish but a good puller of lighter trlrs very good Transmission
My mask!😅
Let's get another perspective how soft is too soft-? It softer always better.. I think the idea of a superlative feminine soft is not what we're looking for.. can I get a Hallelujah
I would still rather have a simple and well laid out interior than overkill like the ram!
Same interior for years!!
Idk why but that step on the tailgate looks really cheap
This is a cool truck, I think it's biggest flaw is that it's just not a F-350!
Are you thinking about getting a dually🤨🤨🤨🧐
Nah hahah
Love the exterior hate the interior
Came here for info about a fatal flaw......
Like chasing a rabbit.
❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍
Whats the rush Ben?! Slow down I feel like you are just rushing through the video!
Keep the run time down
bed too short. why make a short bed dually that defeats the purpose.
I've got a 2500 2021 chose it because of the non solid front axle and the interior is far superior to the dodges and fords. Sorry but the chevy interior is vastly superior to its competition. After driving the top end trims of the ford and dodge the chevy interior materials I think are superior. I like the harder seats because over time and use they are going to soften up and end up where they need to be. I keep my trucks for years and years and rack up hundreds of thousands of miles and I'm done with the crap quality ford and dodges whose interior materials and shtty build quality falls apart after a hundred thousand miles of use.
Sorry but your dead wrong on ford and dodge being better inside
It’s ok to have an opinion as wrong as it is. But facts are facts Ford is superior to these hideous outdated trucks. Ford outsells these low quality trucks and that’s a fact.
Seat material is a "fatal flaw"? Jesus........
Yes, it’s why I won’t buy one.
Maybe be a little original and review something other than the Denali model???
I’ve always been a fan of GM but the new HDs are the ugliest trucks on the market.
The Chevy version sure is. The GMC model is better.
Eye of the beholder…
I think the truck is for a working man a hard sheathing material is for a hard man.. who's ready for hard work. serious
Anyone got 80k I can have?
My complaints on this truck is well basically everything!
1. Front end looks ok but it looks way too busy. The double rounded curves on the bottom of the grill just ruin it.
2. The front and rear fender openings are way too large! And the black moldings around them make this look like big rig very tacky! The front fender doesn’t even align with the front bumper!
3. The hideous mirrors that are on the door? Instead of the door sill? They extend but don’t fold?
4. Cheesy tailgate!
5. Interior is beyond outdated and hideous.
6. The cab is way smaller than the rest of the truck just look at the rake on the pillars and the overall interior space.
7. This is a Denali package but comes with some cheap ass 1980s looking wheels?
8. Frame is already rusting from the cheap coating they use.
9. Independent suspension?
10. What exactly makes this a Denali? It’s just a couple badges gm has a lot of work to do to hang with Ford and Dodge. Ford is way superior in every way compared to this truck
8 frame is rusting on 2021 ford
@@AmazonWebService98 no it’s not I own a 2021 and they have a real coating unlike gm that just sprays some crappy coating that falls off when you rack the damn truck
Couldn’t have said it better!
@@erikcruz6292 thank you Sir
Someone's trying to justify their trash purchase lol
Your description is designed for the most ignorant, someone purchasing this vehicle knows about the items you label
I'll never consider a GM HD truck as long as they keep using that IFS.
That IFS rides better than a Solid Axle
@@sfcjones2590 that IFS sucks when you use the truck as a truck. All sorts of expensive parts start wearing out all of a sudden. You don't have those problems with a solid axle
@@TruckerMike089 I disagree, I am on my 2nd Duramax Truck and other than replacing a upper ball joint at 216k miles my front suspension works and rides great. My wife's Jeep has gone through 3 sets of ball joints in 16 months and it is a solid axle. I use my truck to pull heavy where as a gas truck doesn't have the power to pull heavy. My 1st Duramax had 450k on it and all did was replace one hub bearing. The ride is much better too.
@@sfcjones2590 I owned an 04 Silverado 2500HD that went through hubs, bearings, ball joints, and tie rods once I started towing with it. After that I said I'd never own another HD GM truck. Started running straight axel pickups and have never had those problems again
@@TruckerMike089 I owned a 2004 LB7 GMC 2500 that I sold with 455k miles on it. I wheel hub. my 2009 LMM has 297k miles and 1 Upper ball joint and 1 wheel hub. I guess I treat my trucks differently.
They can't get headlights work see new Chevy or GMC with burn headlight
You talk a bit too fast, and leave words out of your sentences, speeding over important things and wasting time on things that don't need mentioning.
Fisherprice interior
I think you’re going to lose viewers if you keep up with the click bait titles. I realize you want viewers but if you lose your credibility no one will watch you
There’s nothing clickbait about the video, I discuss the flaw at the end of the video and for a lot of truck buyers it is a huge deal. It’s why I haven’t bought a gmc.
@@BenHardyCars The “fatal” flaw is it needs softer seats? Come on!
MAN I WISH THE GMC WILL BE ELECTRIC TRUCK RIGHT HERE IN 2023 OR 2024
GMC will launch the Sierra ProEV sometime before 2025, same as the Chevrolet Silverado EV.
