Hi, have 4 physical hard drives. I choose raid 5. And it shows in status message Background parity initialisation is qued. Should I wait for it complete?
Because I m trying to install esxi and I couldn't see any local hard drive during drive selection option. Is there any method to format or something. I m stuck

RAID 10 would be the appropriate configuration for a SQL server.... not raid 1
