They're probably used to being fed by someone who pulls in through that gate in that 4x4, so they come towards vehicles. If you rustle a paper sack they'll probably follow you anywhere. If you want them to relax around you, look down at the ground and move like a horse browsing the field. If you want to scare the heck out of them, move like velociraptor or a wolf lining up to pounce on one and bite it in the neck. They'll run.
Go visit St Andrews!! Get scones at Gorgeous, ice cream at Janettas, cake from Cottage Kitchen and coffee from Taste! And climb up to the top of St Rules for a birds-eye view of the town!
Loving your Scotland videos. We can't wait to head there next year. You're giving us so many ideas of things to do and places to visit. Looking forward to seeing what else you get up to while you're there. I hope you enjoyed your fish and chips! We miss them so much (they're a New Zealand classic too!).
Anstruther Fish Bar serves the best fish and chips in Fife in my opinion. The Tailend is a fish and chip restaurant in St. Andrews too with a fishmonger inside it. Both worth a visit and Anstruther is so quaint. Have fun you two and happy travels.
I'm enjoying these Scotland videos, it's my great wish to visit Scotland just like you did - small villages, castles and stuff like that! The bad thing is I'm in Bosnia and we must have (kind of expensive) visa to visit UK, which turns me off a bit, but my plan in a future is to go and enjoy beautiful Alba :)
Honestly you guys are making me want to go to Scotland! Love this footage. You are one of the inspirations to why I started traveling more and vlogging with my kids, keep it up the two of you! ✌
Looks like a beautiful farm holiday with a quasi full traditional breakfast ! Including a hillbilly hot tub experience Love to Scotland and the UK, great videos guy's love to you both from Tennessee
Just upgraded my TV to 4k, your video content has always been good, the visuals excellent, but in 4k... oh my they are stunning. So jealous of the glamping, but following from you being in the Cotswolds, managed to convince the family to go there next year for something a little different. Keep on adventuring y'all!
I kind of lost touch with you guys for a while, and now, watching your recent videos back in Britain, I'm hooked again. I think the large beans in the chilli were butter beans. Just one thing, when I worked for a summer in a hotel at the top end of Loch Lomond (I'm talking here before the time of dinosaurs), we were plagued by midges - Scotland's most populous residents - but maybe at this time of year they have all died off. I hope so, because they can be mean little buggers. Robert.
Your videos are so entertaining ,Seeing the UK from an American perspective is funny but at the same time informative. They make me appreciate our country so much more. The next time you are in the UK try to make time to visit”God’s own county” , Yorkshire.Take time to visit York ,Whitby ,Scarborough and the east coast. You can even take a trip on a Harley Davison type trike with a tour guide that takes most of the Northern Dales in.My wife and I have visited the USA on numerous occasions over the years.(always somewhere different)but still love our holidays at home.Keep moving!
Yay the Cocao Tree in Pittenweem is one of my favourite little cafes!! I hope you are going to try the famous Anstruther fish and chips? Hope you guys are having fun in Scotland! If you need any recommendations I am happy to help :)
Thanks for mentioning that you can get the beans vegan. I know you're not vegetarian or vegan, but a mention now and then is certainly appreciated. Love Scotland and love the vlogs! Cheers mates! 🤗
Guys, If you can get to Hull on the north east coast between the 5th and 12th of October, Europe's largest travelling fair is in situ and it is Massive - you won't have seen a larger fair. There is a great park and ride facility. The fair moves on across the county but fragments - it is at it's largest in Hull.
I hope you got to Falklands Palace in Fife. It was one of my favourite places. From what I remember it was a hunting lodge for the Kings of Scotland but the garden had the most beautiful herbaceous borders.
Please to see you the real travel adventurers. Good quality content on travelling. A lot for me to learn from your videos for my travel channel. Keep making good videos.
We saw those awesome looking glamping sites in Scotland and you’re making them look far more “glam” than “camp”! And now, based on your recommendation I’ve gone to Amazon and ordered Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauce. By the way, you guys have really convinced us that the next time we head to Scotland a rental car is the way to go.
Scotland is really nice. I wish we had the opportunity of land, organic locally grown food, unity, and high culture which is most patriotic. America could had been this nice if it weren't only about greed. Thanks for showing such a cool experience.
Scott Bixler: It seems a lot of Americans these days are going back to growing food Scott. I see lots of ‘homesteaders’ showing up on UA-cam and most seem to be in USA. We have the bad, the good and the greedy in Scotland too sadly.
Andrew Norris never ever did outlander get boring to me hahahhaaha the characters and the story are amazing too! I do agree that the beautiful Scottish scenery ads a lot of charm to the series!
Good job with the breakfast guys. IRS not easy cooking evenly over a wood fire. Look out for dry cure bacon though then you don't get that white water in the pan😊
Waowser cool I have to say this small half-barrel houses look adorably. I'm looking forward to seeing all of your visits in Scotland. Because we are taking all the inspiration in, because we are heading back in 2020 to the Highlands in Scotland.🏴 Can say it enough but thanks for your videos, they are a great inspiration for us. Keep up the great work guys. best regards The Danish Viking.
Must be the way of UK glamping to build those structures... Craig & Aimee (Kinging-It) had much the same in Wales a while back... Simple things (like the beans & chorizo) often turn out to be really good...
I loved this episode and wonder how much it would cost to have a tiny house like that built. Materials are so expensive but we have cedar, alder, etc, and noseeums. LOVE the hot tub!
It's bed time for me but I must watch the video first. After both of you claimed to not be very good at making outdoor breakfast, the results looked pretty good. I'm interested to see if Scottish fish and chips are as good as the English ones (I'm sure they are) :D
Take care of yourself, Eric 🙏 I love everything about this video. It seemed so laid back and relaxing! The country is beautiful, of course; I hope to visit it one day soon. Did that gift basket come with your wigwam? What was in it?
Those little cottages are so cute and cosy! Actually, I might be wrong, but I seem to recollect that you stayed at something very similar in one of your older videos?
A few weeks ago I made a comment about how you called it courgette, now you are going back calling it zucchini? :P Keep up the good work! You make me want to go back to Scotland again.

Bacon is like religion. You're free to choose your own but shouldn't try to cram it down anyone else's neck.
Unsmoked, dry cured, for me.
Nice to see happy optimistic people having a nice time you are a credit too your nation
Had a bit of a setback today. Your adventure with the deer cheering me up. Thank-you!
I'm so happy you guys are finally starting to be sponsored! You work so hard to produce excellent videos! Nice to see that! You deserve so much!!
I've been watching you guys since around 5k subscribers and it's nice to see you've came back to Scotland, always look forward to your uploads.
Said it before and I just keep saying it......you two are so sweet, honest and enjoyable to watch! Stay the way you are.
There’s something so fascinating about watching some friendly Americans explore our wonderful country
That's taking cabin glamping to the next level. Love them! Plus, Eric, you can never have enough tabasco sauce!
Go visit St Andrews!! Get scones at Gorgeous, ice cream at Janettas, cake from Cottage Kitchen and coffee from Taste! And climb up to the top of St Rules for a birds-eye view of the town!
Yum yum!
Fish and chips in Scotland are wonderful. I lived there for a year and never had badly prepared fish and chips no matter where I went.
yummy!
OMG can’t believe you’re in Pittenweem!! Literally been to every place you went, it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world
:)
I feel you both can consider yourselves honorary Brits as you see the beauty this country has on offer. Great videos
I'd agree with that, although Eric's attempt at an English accent needs work ;-)
I feel ashamed to have not seen barely any of these places.
@@Jimmy_Jones hope you can visit one day Jimmy :)

Welcome to Fife Oh, thank you so much for answering me! Me too! I sure will! 😍😍😍
Honestly you guys are making me want to go to Scotland! Love this footage. You are one of the inspirations to why I started traveling more and vlogging with my kids, keep it up the two of you! ✌

Hope you make it here soon guys!
Welcome anytime 😊

Looks like a beautiful farm holiday with a quasi full traditional breakfast ! Including a hillbilly hot tub experience Love to Scotland and the UK, great videos guy's love to you both from Tennessee
I am loving these Scotland vlogs..I so want to go there..
Always blows my mind how well you make these videos
And the fish and chips in Scotland are THE BEST! We use haddock rather than cod and the fish is butterflied and "flat". B. E. A. Utiful.
A Aberdeen smokie is a must.
Mon the Chippys!
Oh my god! I can’t believe you were at pitenweem, I live like 10 miles from there in leven !
Fresh produce from the farm shop , like the fresh fish from the man & van on the quayside, just gives you that extra feel good factor to a meal.
They look like WW2 wooden Anderson shelters from the outside but the inside is soooo cool :-)
Just upgraded my TV to 4k, your video content has always been good, the visuals excellent, but in 4k... oh my they are stunning.

Cold Coffee Yuk! A big mug of tea and mushrooms black pud and haggis are needed with the breakfast. Plus the zukini for the sheep n Deer. Lol
Great day, wonderful stay, deer, good food. wow
Are you sure that it isn't a fifedom? The Quansett hut design is a left over from WWII. Bigger ones housed in a lot of things including people.
Try throwing a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce in your baked beans for a nice little kick.
Or on cheese on toast. Its also that sauce you're supposed to use in Welsh Rarebit.
Ralph Hardwick worcestershire sauce has anchovies in it
That's true, it has some odd ingredients. Not sure why you mentioned that though?
great idea!
Wow this video made me want to book a wigwam for a couple of days over Christmas! It looks stunning 👍
Christmas you'll freeze yr bits off! Snows in Scotland

Hey Robert, we don;t really get midges in Fife so all good :)

The food looks delicious and the surroundings are gorgeous.
Looks great guys!! Come back and visit again soon
How could you not have the Chocolate cake at the Cocoa Tree......?
We love Pittenweem - some of the best fish and chips on the planet :-)

What a good idea, I would like to do the same on my field in the Pyrenees.

I thought the same thing! :)
Good luck getting there without a 4x4... It'll be bloody freezing.
It's no bother in Fife :)
i hope you went to Anstruther for Fish & Chips... best Chippy in Scotland !
True
Haddock and chips yum!
The line can go on for miles though
Great chippy!
if you love fife, watch Outlander! A lot of little scenes are shot around fife!
It was great but the second series was in France, and boring in comparison!
aye another Outlander fan! i say Scotland should idk give them a status or smth (jk jk) bc the show really help put it on a travel map for many ppl.
Andrew Norris never ever did outlander get boring to me hahahhaaha the characters and the story are amazing too! I do agree that the beautiful Scottish scenery ads a lot of charm to the series!
Good call :) Falkland, Culross, Aberdour, Balgonie, The Reaper at Anstruther...

We think so :)
Definitely get a bottle of the Nandos Peri-Peri salt if you go to Nandos again or from any supermarket.
Its great on chips.
Wow! I'm British, but 1/4 Scots, and I'm yet to visit Scotland...at all! You know what they say...when it's on your doorstep...
You need to be listening to Gloryhammers's "Tales from the Kingdom of Fife"! It's like Dungeons and Dragons set to power metal. It's epically funny.
Take care of yourself, Eric 🙏
I love everything about this video. It seemed so laid back and relaxing! The country is beautiful, of course; I hope to visit it one day soon. Did that gift basket come with your wigwam? What was in it?

Been waiting for you guys
Too late now but you should have stopped at St.Andrews,Carnoustie&Arbroath
Next time you're in London, go to Richmond Park if you like deer. (Eric, gargling hot salty water helps a sore throat).
Will the fish and chip shop deep fry a mars bar or cream egg for your pudding?
Great video guys, thanks! Glad you're enjoying Scotland! Could you tell me the name of the first track you used on the video? I love it!
U guys should try balmoral and the surrounding area.

Fab hat, Alison.
Lincolnshire sausages are the best trust me on that. Try them seriously.
This adventurer is grateful to you adventurers for sharing your experience there in Scotland. bit.ly/tea-patreon
At least this is better than some glamping which is usually a tent with a double bed in it.
Yayyyyyy I live in Fife
You are so cute! Your little Nando packet!! Will you be taking any back to the usa?? X
