When I was 10, my aunt bought me Screaming for Vengeance and it blew my mind. Around 82 or so, I saw the video for You've Got Another Thing Coming and I was hooked. Been a huge fan since those early 80's. The first time I saw Rickie play was that middle solo in Another Thing Coming with that Black LP Custom, and once again, I was blown away. Getting to see one of my guitar heroes this close is a real treat. Thank you for doing these session Richie!!!
Worcester ma 1983 screaming for vengeance tour ,the 2 lead guitarists went up and down on moving blocks that went up and down 20 30 foot and the drummer awsome concert,,
Rich your a good guitar player but I know when you have the right equipment it makes even an average player sound good. I would have liked to see you and eddy together.
What fascinates me is his ability to make alternate picking riffs sound pretty much as awesome if not better in some ways that they sound when purely down-picked. I just recently learned that he plays the Painkiller riff that way and also Master of Puppets in this video. If I try that it just sounds complete crap and I'm not a beginner guitarist or anything :D
